I think Mao is the ONLY character in the series that has PERFECT PERFECT teeth. Jun, Sakurako, Tsubaki, Ayano, Rui... etc... all don't have perfect teeth... this bugs me
hahaha! now we're on the topic of not so perfect teeth! hehehe
i heard, its their LUCKY CHARM? hahaha!

yeah, lots of j-girls have crooked teeth, must be their luck charm or they think it looks good.
ok, maybe only some of them have crooked teeth, or else there would be no orthodontist there in japan.

I think a second season itLs not impossible, but as for now, a special is more possible. I guess a second season would happen after these 3 years, and since Kamio-sensei is going to write Hanadan again, maybe theyLll use its story to make the second season (so I hope for!).
Kamio-sensei is writing Hanadan again??!!!
Do you know when is the first book coming out? Can I know where you heard this from? This is great news indeed, if it is true then there is REALLY hope for a season 2.
For me, the "See you soon" at the end of episode 9 is hinting at another season rather than a special.

Lets hope thats what it's hinting at.
Although...If there is a second season, that means my poor Jun will have to ruin his hair again ...unless Dom comes back from NY with a bit more fashion-sense & a better hair-style.

he should just go bald next time...then he can glue diamonds to his head and show that's he's even richer than before.

I am sorry if I sound mean but if there is a season with Jun as Dom, I will risk Jun ruining his hair again.
I will take his off beat hair with his off beat fashion sense and what ever Aunt Jemina and Toobaki if that is what it takes. Of course, to have the same Makino and the same F4 would be the ultimate dream.

*gasps* OH GOD NO! That is like my worst nightmare...Jun going bald.
But the diamond part would be hillarious to watch ...(as long as someone else has it, and not Jun. )

in the manga and anime, Dom straightens his hair because Tsukushi says it looks weird curly. if there is a 2nd season or a special (please!) that would be cute in Jun's hair is all nice and straightened. hehehe _________________
That is great to hear that the last rating is high enough in the 20's. My prediction is right!! SO HAPPY. I doubt there will be a 2nd season soon and if they do it will be like Gokusen 2. New cast probably since fybabe said that everything is booked for the 2006 season. Can other TV stations take up the 2nd season of HYD?
***BTW, is the highest rating in Japan around 50% for a serie? 22.4 is very low compare to K-dramas or C-dramas ratings that average to 30%.

that's a pretty good rating for the drama...
i don't think they should have a second season...wouldn't be the same, and if they did, it would have to include the orginal cast, atleast Jun and Mao.....

hehe, thank you!
Kyun is an onomatopoeia (the formation or use of words such as buzz or murmur that imitate the sounds associated with the objects or actions they refer to.) in Japanese.
So, it's describing that feeling of being moved/touched. _________________
