y'know that little part of me that adores happy endings really wanted them to change the outcome of the TOJ pagent and have Makino win, and then get Baba-sama's blessing and then Makino and Dom would frolic off into the sunset aruging the entire way. But they didn't, and that was ok too. Her talent was GREAT. The part where Domyoji bursts in and tells people to shut the hell up on his mega-phone was SOOOO RANDOM! But oddly enough, it made sense since it was Domyoji and he's a nutjob and filthy rich and he can pull off shit like that. Anyway it made me laugh, and then grin like an idiot because as bizzare as it was, it was still a very sweet gesture. Watching Makino play with those kids reminds me of the years I spent teaching 3 and 4 yr olds at church, so tiring, and you look like a freak most of the time, but still very fun.

I didn't care what he had to do, I wanted Domyoji to show up at that damn party! Grumble

And sending Rui to go see Makino in his place when he said to go meet him was sneaky too. And she speant alll that time picking out an outfit and baking... Well at least Rui set her straight. Was I the only one that thought Makino's running past all the airport security was funny? They were just talking away, and she gets out of the car and runs right in. And then Baba-sama's random white bodyguards/business partners??? let her through to the runway. And YES IT WAS THERE. The final fashion disaster of the series!!! It was for a split second and probably because if we saw it longer than that our eyes would like- melt in their sockets or something. I'll probably make a cap later, since I know a lot of people were holding out for subs.

The last scene with them together, I think it would have been nice to see Makino make a move for once. He's always grabbing her or something, but like- this was the point where she realized that she loved him and she was telling him that and he interrupts her Shake Head

I kinda wanted to see Makino finally kiss him after saying she had "something more important to tell him" (y'know that whole "actions speak louder than words" schpiel put into practice) all that other talking could have been said later, but yeah. It was still a good ending even though I totally felt like the sun was in my eyes. Shizuka coming back was really random, and so was stalker-Yuuki! They actually hit it off in the manga! And Akira/Sakurako=weird. I'd rather see him w/ Okami-san (but I'm biased because she is one of my fav characters in the drama "Jooooooohn!" hehe
