k. brown with 1 point, i guess his 15 minutes where not really needed...

the thing i am amazed is he did it in three quarters, 32 by the half, 30 in the third quarter alone, and sat out the fourth....no one else scored greater than 9 points....Kobe literally did practically everything tonight, and they breeze thru with a victory..

can you say superstar, franchise... Bonk

That's a given.

The key is how he involves (or not) the team in the other 81 games... Sweat

Just think: if he "only" scored 39 points, they woulda lost. Sweat

of course..of course....

yeap, scary to think that lamar, mihm, smush, really had pathetic type games scoring wise......
Kobe still needs the help and that is a given.
and Kwame Brown's game tonight, it was a joke, almost seems normal the way his output is.

62 points for Kobe! Bow

Damnit! My opponent for this week in NBA fantasy have Kobe Bryant in his lineup Bang Head . I was leading him in points by 80 before last night's game. Now he's catching up on me by just 35 because of Byant's performance last night to go along with Jason Kidd's bad game (he's in my team) Shake Head

The big game is on Xmas day: Lakers-Heat.

I don't think Kobe's gonna drop 62 on the Heat and their big tub o' goo... But LeBron did score like 40+ on them to beat them the other day...

And the Lakes play the Magic on Friday. I hope they don't look past that game to Sunday...

At the end of the 3rd quarter it was Kobe 62 and Dallas 61. Mr Green

Was a great game. Applaud Usually the Lakers lose when I watch them at Staples.

Honestly, the Lakers need a lot more talent on the team.

Any thoughts on who'd they'd like to pick up in the draft?

that is obvious that they need more talent, Lamar isn't doing a good job at filling in behind kobe, they need an impact play that can complement kobe, like a 1-2 punch....

maybe a power forward 6-9, 6-10 prescense in the paint type player...
and someone to replace smush parker, a better point guard, hey they're whole team needs revamping... hehe

But even after getting off to that awful start, the Lakers are only a game and a half behind last month's dynasty(a.k.a. the Clippers) rofl

I'm so excited to watch the Heat vs Lakers game on christmas eve. I didn't see that matchup last christmas because my attention was on the Pacers vs Pistons game Mr Green .

By the way, the Nets defeated the Heat 95-88 Bonk . They are also in a roll now with 5 game winning streak Applaud . Go Nets! Victory! Peace!

Lakes beat up the Magic, 104-88... All starters are in double figures, Kobe score a mere 21...

Now the big game on Sunday with Riley and the tub o' goo.
