good point. usa have shown something four years ago. australia... i dont know. the last time australia got into world cup was in germany too, 1974. so we are short of australians action in the world cup, not much i can say. let's just wait and see.

australians aim for second http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/051210/1/5oet.html

ManYoo did well by winning 2 matches in a row: only 6 points between them and Chelski.

and today it's the Chelsea vs Arsenal game, even though I want Arsenal to win, I doubt it's going to happen... watch chelsea win 1-0 with a lucky rebound goal.

sorry if there is a thread liek this, but Football rocks...

i'm high this week coz my favourite footballer Junichi Inamoto, scored against *sigh* my team Fulham, his former club in the 3rd Round of the Carling Cup, West Brom won 3-2 Fulham, i'm dissapointed but weirdly happy because he shot a goal..and must i add, Hide Nakata scored last sunday, and helped his teammate on yesterdays match i think it was against charlton.....
Mr Green Mr Green

LOL, At frist I thought you were talking about American Football like NFL. And also I was like Japan HAS FOOTBALL? Sweat Well, were you talking about Soccer rite? Well if this counts for any thing, I played American Football in Height school, wearing about 35 or 37lbs of football armor some people wore little more (it was not heavy, but we get use to moving with in it over time). And no we were not wimps wearing that armor, it still gave us broze, broken arms and legs some times dislocated but the Trainers relocate a arm or a leg back (Trainers are like medics). All the football armor did was to keep us alive.

I'm glad that ManU is doing well now, not that I'm supporting them but at least it brings back some pressure on Chelski.

lol, normally I'd agree. I always hated how Ferguson cried about everything and mistreating his players (look at what happened to Stam, Beckham, Keane: one little argument and you're sold). But Jose Mourinho is 10x worse: he's sooo annoying with his "we did not lose" and other trashtalk. bleh and his defending style of game is just dreadful to watch.

Although that would be nice to see, I don't think anytime soon will Japan win the world cup.

i don't know...if liverpool can string together a brilliant finish they've got a chance at chelski. 17 points down with 2 games in hand, is not beyond the realm of possibility, but in my heart of hearts i've already conceeded this season to the blues, now i'll settle for a good showing in the FA cup, and a win on april 22nd in the NLD.

oh and CONGRATS TO THIERY ON THE HAT TRICK ON SAT!!

even though Chelski will most probably win this season, I can see a downfall. no team can dominate the game a few years in a row. look at France, Brazil, Arsenal.

I really hope Barca will kick Chelsea's ass this time, last year they really didn't deserve to lose and this year Chelsea hasn't improved at all and plays such ugly football - they just dont' deserve to win.
