Hi! I was just checking out the nominations for the JDorama Awards and could not find a date that we need to PM by. I just read something that says results will be posted before the next quarter;s dorama comes out. Does anyone know what the exact date we need to PM by. Thanks.

Finished ep. 9 Given the number of episodes they had to work with, I was pleased with the way everything resolved.

Did anyone else want Sakaurako to die a painful death? I guess she lived up to the villain role pretty well but she got way too much screen time IMO.

She got on my nerves. I wasn't really happy with the way the resolved everything with the secondary characters

like how Yuuki became a sojiro stalker, in the manga she grew up and like grew a backbone here she digressed. I also wanted to see an explanation behind Akira's thing for older women- that was my FAVORITE side story in the manga- maybe they'll divulge us in a special. And speaking of Akira, I wanted him to be with Okami-san. I know, I know the age gap, but really she deserved someone! She was one of my favorite characters. But a little in Sakurako's defense, they did combine TWO of the evil characters from the manga into one for the drama, because you have already evil Sakurako combined with male model bent on revenge Junpei- and you get like....crazy bug-eyed drama Sakurako (who were supposed to believe is cute in the end...riiiiight

but overall, i looved this series. I'm praying and wishing and hoping for a couple of long specials or even (and far less likely) a second season

who Megumi Satou, who plays the role of Sakurako? no way...she was way to cute...and had her issues....wanted to show compassion for the lost and she did a good job acting as the villlianess in HYD.

Since they left the ending open ended, I think it gives all of us some hope. It'll be tough to follow up though especially since they've reunited Shizuka with Rui. What role will Rui play if there is a next season? (Going to New York with Tsukushi, helping her through with Doumyoji's memory loss etc. etc.) I guess the screen writer can always modify as they see fit right?

I will take anything as long as it is not "modified" like MG2

i was able to watch 2 versions of ep9 (SARS and orig subbers). wooosh! the last ep definitely left me hanging! argh!

...oh i was hoping for a 2nd season too!

Anyway I love Hana Yori Dango! I am currently watching the anime and debating whether or not I should start collecting the manga, but I may just collect Nana instead...

sakurako is one crazy "A$$" chick man. she had such innocent looking eyes and then bang shes got the whole im going to kill you eyes. it was kinda creepy man. and she really did have alot of screen time huh?

which ending r u referring to? the hyd jdorama?
the taiwanese version wasn't THAT bad...at least the MG1 was acceptable!! (i recently re-watched it all hehe)

u mean hyd jdorama is stronger?? i thought it was too short and kinda skipped out a lot of good parts in the manga which MG didn't.....pls not get me wrong, i absolutely love the hyd jdorama better but i didnt find MG that bad......it had some good points in it...like domyouji showed more of his kindness/sweetness (which manga had) i cried a lot watching MG lol...lets not go into MG2...
