I hope you are the only one eating them.....chocolate is bad for dogs!
You better take that up with Beautiful Maria. She's been eating a few bittersweet chips everyday for more than 14 years. Gives her a little perk me up for evening feed time.

is that a myth? chocolates, peanut butter and ham are bad for dogs..
Too much of anything is probably a bad thing. That goes for people too. I do know that the Christmas ham made her very thirsty though. All that sodium. _________________

I think chocolate is the only one of those three that's bad for a dog... It's very toxic, maybe even lethal.
Peanut butter? Nope... Ever see that "Got Milk" commercial with the yellow lab eating peanut butter??
Ham?? Nah...
Chocolate in high doses is lethal for dogs b/c of the theobromine in it. It depends on the dog's size, type of chocolate, and amount eaten. The darker the chocolate, the less it takes (baker's chocolate is awful!). Luckily Eve's doggie is pretty big so it would take quite a bit, even of semisweet. I still don't give my dog chocolate, though.
Peanut Butter isn't bad as far as I know. They make treats out of it for dogs. But, I wouldn't go and feed a dog a ton of peanuts, though.
Ham is not toxic. Dogs love it Although, if it's very salty, they might puke.
Many toxic things for dogs are types of plants and household products.
Right now I'm backing up MP3's to delete and make space to defrag....

hey, thanks for the answers. I didn't know you guys would REALLY answer it.. Anyway, about the ham, I had a dog back home and when he was fed ham, he shed his fur nonstop and he had rashes.. we thought it was just a one-time thing, but my cousin's dog had the same reaction to ham, excessive shedding which turned into bald spots which turned into sores/rashes...
the vet said the preservatives were too much for the dog.
*shrugs shoulders*
anyway, going on topic. I just downed 2 Benadryls and I'm waiting for it to take effect. Might as well watch Ichi to lull me to sleep..

That sucks.
Is it still on waranty? If not, you could try opening it, to see if something is unplugged.
... but maybe it's damaged beyond repair; like a cracked motherboard or a damaged capacitor thingy... _________________

cracked motherboard?
okay.. the way it fell was an inverted "V" meaning the ends were the ones that hit the floor.. not the body.. i was scared the screen mightve cracked or something... but nada.. the "Compaq" sign still appears, but the WIndows logo won't do..
*EDIT.. gosh darnit.. I passed 1K posts and I don't know where I posted my 1K...
