I think din.. na sa highschool stages lang yung parang may mga iba na ilang gumamit ng native language.. Kasi ako, I never experienced it, coming here after college... I do get stares.. but I really don't care.. Some friends of mine even encourage me to speak it kahit kaharap sila (when im talking to family members).. labo..

i'm looking forward for GTO j-dorama series....
i'm already fed up with those crappy love stories and fantaseryes it's sickening i'm also looking forward for strawberry on the shortcake
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
hmm... can anyone send me the lyrics for "link" by l'arc en ciel ?thanks!
^^ korek.. gone are the days of triangulos, sawas, bawangs (i was thinking "onions" hahahahaha), roman candles at magagandang fountains..
lungkot ng bagong taon dito.. di mo masyado feel..
Manigong Bagong Taon!
Can we switch place? I can't have my good old nap at the afternoon because of this firecrackers. There is nothing wrong with playing with firecrackers but kids are just abusing their freedom to use this stuff. It's not yet new year's eve but you can already hear kabooms almost everywhere and see those children with injuries in news due to firecracker malfunction (or maybe misuse of firecrackers) . What I'm trying to say is just they should only be doing this on new year's eve. Damn, now I realize how annoying I am to my neighbors when I was a kid . _________________

Cool! First time to watch a jdorama? In my case, although it's not the first drama that I watched, GTO is the one that got me hooked on jdoramas . Anyway, you might wanna try to ask those people at the L'Arc~En~Ciel thread at the artistes section regarding your question . _________________

kinda off topic but you'll miss all those sounds of fire crackers if u go elsewhere.... i experienced that for a few times before that's why i rather stay home and hear these kaboom sounds here and there than go somewhere else this time.... just that new years eve without firecrakers (not fireworks) are kinda weird for my opinion ( sabishi neh )....
btw... can anyone list down a list of jdrama being aired on local tv plus their time slot? i saw several cm over channel12 b4 but i dont recall seeing any of them.... i just wanna see how they dubbed all those jdrama into tagalog... i hope they got a new batch of seiyu for these show and not the using the same one as in those anime.... _________________

There is nothing wrong with using firecrackers on new year's eve because it's already part of our tradition. The problem is, it's not yet new year's eve .

QTV-11 finished airing Golden Bowl on dec 16, which is replaced by a taiwanese drama and Heaven's Coins 3 just finished airing today . I don't know what they will show for Heaven's Coins' time slot but I am hoping that a jdorama will replace it . About the dubbing, the translation and timing is good. My only complain is that some voices are way too different from the real voices of the actors, like the voice of the one who dubbed for Yutaka Takenouchi . The voice is like from someone who is "presko", really different from the low-pitched voice of Takenouchi. They should have picked someone who, if not the same, have a little bit similarity to his voice . _________________

i envy those who could hear fireworks, kahit hindi pa new year.. naalala ko nga kahit hindi pa pasko may nagpapaputok na, thats when i still live there. i guess iba ang tingin natin Saito, hehe pasalamat nalang kayo na may "xmas feeling" jan sa pinas , eh dito, wala! thats why a lot of people dont really appreciate the celebration of new year w/o fireworks hahah yun sa tingin ko, at yun rin ang nakikita ko sa iba. its a miserable feeling, trust me i've spent new years here for 13 years, ugh.. sana naman makauwi ako next year sa bagong taon.
i guess im feeling this way because im used to our country's tradition, siguro sa mga hindi naranasan ng ganon, i bet they dont care.
ang pwede lang mag paputok dito, independence day, which is my birthday, pero bale wala lang sakin. _________________

Sheeesh.....lungkot naman dyan kapag new year. How about going to chinatown? I don't know there in the U.S. but my cousin who lives in U.K. usually go to chinatown on new year's eve to watch fireworks display (iba pa yung chinese new year). Anyway, I'm gonna get myself a long sleep tonight because I'm sure that I won't get a chance to have a good sleep tomorrow _________________

yay, me too i envy those people who can hear the explosions of fire crackers. It has been 3 or 4 years since ipinagbawal ni mayor ang mga paputok dito sa davao. Pero masaya na rin ako kasi walang nadedesgrasya kapag pasko at new year, pero minsan nakakalungkot rin di kasi ma-feel ang pasko dagdag pa ang ekonomiya ng bansa.
