if u are talking about free to air TV, only channel U is currently showning jdramas..

saturday afternoon they are showing repeats, and Mon-Tuesday 7.30pm they are showing 'new' series. I think its Trick (not sure which season) from next Mon onwards

and that's all!!!!!!!!!!! No other timeslot showing jdramas ((

^oh ya ya ya yaaa!! prob after trick..all during the 7.30pm timeslot on mon and tues..btw i think the broadcasting times are going to change..cuz i rmb watching an ad where they said the variety shows are gg to start from 8pm instead of 8.30pm..so i think the dramas will be pushed forward to 7pm, instead of 7.30pm..but i dunno when it will change..

SCV is now showing R-17, Blackjack ni Yoroshiku, Sekaichuu, Tadano Hitoshi II.

does any one have any ideas whether johnnys' power, or other japanese ent. related programmes showing on cable tv?
i remembered watched Johnnys' power sometime ago, probably in august 2005, but since then, i could not catch any more of that.

as i am thinking of subscribing to a channel which shows sufficient numbers of japanese related shows, so i need to get some ideas which channel is the best. - well, not jettv(chn 57). hehe.

i will very much wish to know about this too. which channel from scv should i subscribe to watch the most of Jpop? i am very confuse about the channel subscribing of SCV, any kind soul able to help? i read from net about the price and everything but my head just get bigger. so if i want to subscribe this channel that i want, do i need to subscribe the other 2 or 3 more channels or i can only subscribe 1 will do????

hahaz. YES, i agree. the free to air tv is rathering boring sometimes . hehe.
erm. for the SCV subscription, u got to have a basic channels. which are open for choice. i think that's about 11 channels or so, i forgot.
maybe u can check it with the company. i doubt one channel only is enough. hahaz. my scv set is like there rotting becuz there's no channels which i liked -(well, jpop). hehe.
the thing about singapore is that it's so small that there's only 1 tv station in singapore (mediacorp). and we have to depend on them for our entertainment. haix.
unlike other huge countries where by they have so so so many channels for them to choose.

On channel 43(NHK),they are showing Shounen Club,Popjam and Beat Motion.All of these TV programmes are music show.But not everyweek they will show it...it depends on the latest episode showing in Japan...Cuz some show only have 1-2 episode every month.


Hmm...yea mediacorp is so damn sianz....always show Korea drama nowadays...i hope they will at least show one Japanese music show(Music Station,Hey Hey Hey,Minna no Terebi etc.) every week

I have written in the feedback section of the forum, but I wonder is the program planning section/ or those acquiring dramas will read the feedback.

Thanks tingtongbell. Call me greedy but that's definitely not enough for my Japanese drama fix. And if they do show and Japanese entertainment programmes do not count on it being shown at a good prime time slot.

The only chnl I know of which shows Japanese-y/JE-related shows is chnl 54 (TVBS asia). It has AIUEO on Sundays 5-6pm and repeats after midnight. They used to have Factory Generation (a wFL show) but it�fs been stopped for a while and I heard it�fs coming back again ^^ AIUEO focuses quite a lot on Johnnys (besides other Japanese/Korean artises/groups), you can expect concert clips and previews of concert goods too besides the usual CD reviews and intros. I love this chnl! The entertainment news is a good source for up-to-date JE news as well!

Chnl 56 is the best choice for Jdoramas and chnl 51 shows 1 hour of Japanese-y PVs on weekdays! ^^

There�c 3 chnls I can�ft live without! Eep, I�fd love love LOVE to have chnl 43!

anyway, i've got NHK (chn 43) but seriously, i dun get their schedule right, everytime i tuned to that channel, all i get are the news and really non-jpop stuffs. they are mostly showing just sceneries or things like this. rather boring .
