Did some more Wikipedia reading on salmon:

Though it has the least amount of methylmercury of all the fishes, farmed salmon may contain higher levels of dioxins and PCBs, and lower amounts of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids.

Rule of thumb is that the vast majority of Atlantic salmon available on the world market is farmed (greater than 99%), whereas the majority of Pacific salmon is wild-caught (greater than 80%)...

i was going to mention that to you but i thought you wouldn't believe me Sweat that is about the farm raised fish...

just eat a lot of skinless, boneless chicken...and throw in the fish every once in a while. Smile

mummy dearest is frying some ebi tempura for me!!! at the same time rolling some tuna sushi... i <3 seems like a bad idea though specially when later tonight im going to go drinking with friends.. hahahaha.. don't care.. i heart my mumsy's cooking..

I didn't believe it when I read it in Wikipedia.

How can salmon raised in a controlled environment be exposed to dioxins and PCBs?? Completely negates the one of the points of farm-raising salmon... Head Scratch Shake Head

Of course, the veggies are exposed to chemical fertilizers and pesticides.... bleh

had the Subways Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki.....I don't see why my brother loves it so much Sweat

I rather eat Rice, Pho, a good many other food then that sandwhich
