yeah those eggs, congee, some shredded duck meat and slivers of green onion.. my FAVORITE sick food.

what do you call that bread thingie on top.. it's not croutons.. its that brown bread like thing? i think it's "bitso" that's yum too..

my congee should have at least one kind of egg. either century or fresh..

my friend ordered conjee for breakfast one morning while still staying at the grand hyatt, roppongi hills...



i ordered poached eggs (eggs' benedict basically) with ham, bacon, sausage,potatoes, and a tomato slice with a lil' pesto Bleah

haha...that day i didn't eat lunch....because we had a long train ride out of tokyo.....i did have a beer though in the afternoon! my friend had one of those ekibens for lunch ^_^

Yum, ekibens. A excellent way to sample the local cuisine. And you can buy them onboard the Shinkansen. Thumbsup

as did i but i degreased the old pipes with some alcohol later that evening....ate a traditional kaiseki meal which was much later but even more delicious
