Probably. All I know is there are no professional computer engineers. If they say they are, that's totally BS. Electrical? Yes. Civil? I hope they are professional once they can. Industrial? I think so. Mechanical? Probably. |
so the concept of a professional computer engineer is just plain delusion of some computer engineers that they are one? nice insight.
i'm a professional slacker. do i get any freebies?

Sheeesh.....I'm a CoE student myself. After studying many math subjects and other engineering subjects (engineering mechanics, strength of materials, circuits 1 and 2, electromagnetics, etc.), to go along with computer and c++ related subjects, we still wouldn't be considered professionals . It must be because we don't undergo board exam . Damn, too late for me to shift to ECE . _________________

The entire "professional engineer" title is so bogus.
I think it's pretty reasonable to say that a majority of engineers out there are not "professional."
And loving it. *nod to Get Smart*

currently seeing a guy who went there for his undergrad and grad studies. He is now a certified/licensed Engineer. |

Interesting, do you too have this practise of licensing engineers? Recently here was introduced new system for civil engineers after graduation to first practise under supervision of engineer with full designer's certificate. I'm water supply engineer and still have a half year until receive my full license.
On topic - snow melting, crap I went for a shopping with my blue shiny car and return with something greyish. Municipality didn't bother to clean small streets and now it's like pigsty on the parking lot _________________
