well yukiho isnt an innocent girl to start with..she killed her mother at 11!! lol i think all the hardships she had gone through had made her a very selfish person.. i think she only think of herself and not even ryouji..thats what i think

Hey, this is the first time i've said anything on this thread. But I've been following it for a long time. So first off, let me say thanks to all you guys for keeping this thread updated with all the info and pics!! THANK YOU~!
So, I was just reading about how you guys are starting to hate yukiho in the 5th episode. And yea, I must say she's getting a little crooked.
But at the end of the episode, when Yamada's character is reflecting back on what had happened he kinda explained that it really wasn't her fault. Well, i mean... it WAS her fault. BUT you really can't blame her.
She grew up being the parent of the family, taking care of her mom when she should have been the one taking care of her daughter instead of getting drunk all the time. She didn't get to live her childhood like she should have. She didn't have caring parents to spoil her and meet her needs as a child. So, he (yamada's character) thought that this was the ONE time that she felt she could be spoiled for once in her life. She trusts him and feels comfortable enough with him to do that.
And once Yukiho realized that she might make him do something like this again in the future, and that he didn't want to do things like that for her anymore, she left the best way she could. By pissing him off and insulting him. That way, he won't feel bad about being pissed off at her later and come running back to her. She wanted the relationship to be clean cut so that she wouldn't hurt him ever again.
Sorry so long... Just wanted to clear somethings up. I felt bad for yukiho cuz everybody is hatin' on her!! :-D

It's not really fair to compare this with Sekachuu at all. It's a completely different story. I doubt there will be a happy ending but that doesn't mean it can't be a "classic" story. There's already been so many twists in the story it's kind of dizzying.
Yeah, it's kind of hard to sympathize with the lead characters, because they do horrible things. At the same time you ask, "Did they ever have a chance?" Both were so hurt by their terrible upbringings that one can see how they are unable to distinguish right from wrong (not that I'm excusing them for their actions, just giving a possible explanation.)
One thing I do feel in common with Sekachuu is the bond I feel between the two. Though it is a different bond in Sekachuu, you still feel that they are forever linked with one another.
