the smoking thing
ohno smokes definetly.
he mentioned in his radio that he smokes reguraly.
nino and aiba was taken a photo of smoking in the magazine "friday" during the end of last year when they were playing baseball with koichi.
so nino and aiba was at least smoking until then.
im not sure where the 2 year thing about nino came from.
and about the cigarettes on the butai's, they were real cigarettes as people who attended the play can smell the distinct tabacco smell if u were af lease sitting in the front half of the first floor.
(this info is from a friend who went to both jun and nino's play)
this doenst really connect to jun being a regular smoker, but im sure he does. what they are doing is a very stressful job, and unlike the states, there isnt much "pressure" in japan for smokers to quit except the expensive tabacco price.
considering all the facts i still think they are all smokers (except aiba for now) and im fine with it if members want to do so.
i mean, smoking might cause cancer, but there are so many other things that can cause your death lol
oh and about jun, im pretty sure the skin has got to do something with the smoking because during gokusen he was 19, and technically, he wouldnt be smoking back then. maybe he was, but not as much as now.

hmm.. in my opinion, i think that jun's smoking really has nothing to do with the condition his skin..
LOL i think maybe u guys are analysing a tad too much.. ??? haha
as casje said previously, Jun's skin was already pretty bad in Suppin Arashi Con (Ive jus finish Suppin con and I noticed it too).. i guess its really a matter of how well the make up artist could cover-up his skin condition.. so, cut poor-jun some slack! hahaha
I'd like to point out there are also several people, rather non-smokers, with severe skin problem, much WORSE than Jun's. Perhaps also, Jun's skin condition could be attributed to his stressful work condition - lack of sleep etc (I tend to get break outs when I have insufficient sleep) , eating habits, generic reasons or perhaps, even the weather in Japan!!...

I said that Nino quitted last year/2 years ago because there's a pic of him holding a cigarette during the shooting of Stand Up, and somebody lucky enough who isn't lying told me he quitted, so I thought the stopped during that period of time.
I saw Aiba holding a cigarette on those baseball pics, but I didn't realized that Nino was holding one aswell.
Jun smokes regularly too.
I believe Sho smokes too, but I'm not sure. I would like to believe he doesn't, but after listening to what the people says, to the fact he smoked on Pikanchi + Pikanchi 2 and how his voice has changed and has become rougher...
And I agree with c_dy, I think that smoking has nothing to do with Jun's skin, since he always had bad skin >< It depends on the make up. _________________

ooh do you have that pic of aiba cha? ive seen nino in standup paparazzi shot but not aiba chan!
i know that people keep writing that sho chan doesnt like women smoking, but thats not what he said, he doesnt like 'aruki tabaco' meaning women who walk and smoke, so i guess its ok in doors sitting down etc.
oh and matsujuns skin, its not so much his forhead but his cheeks isnt it. but i think in HYD he had really pale make up but recently i kow that he looks radiant and i reckon its the make up cos he looks slightly darker, tanned, maybe hes using a darker shade? lol
but talkin bout skin i know that sho chan often getss baad spouts of bad skin. but not little pimples but big ass spots like the one aibba chan had recently on his nose! ahhh pretty old sho
about Kisarazu, its quite funny that they are doing the time before Busan incident, cos technically sho chan was student in the drama so he would be in high school ne

I understand what kind of women Sho-kun meant by that fraze 'aruki tobacoo' and also women who show off their skin on purpose like a bimbo. I dislike that kind of people too. I think he would like a good-mannered, non-snobby girl. I think it's more with the 'attitude' of the smoking women he was concerned about. But still I feel it's not his type of thing to smoke But then, since it's so common, maybe it's no big deal to them....
Hikaru_sakurai-san, I saw the pic, I don't find them holding a cigarette attractive at all. I feel like editing the cigarette out of the pic. Sorry for the rambling. I don't hate the smokers. I hate stupid cigarettes that do way more harm than good.
Smoking does add to the effects of the climate and stress to worsen the skin! And I agree, I think Jun's skin was better in Gokusen. I always thought Asian people's skin was really good, not many pores and quite clean, and what people were saying about seeing Sho-chan at (the countdown concert?) where his skin was really perfect. And I thought Sho-chan's voice was getting less scratchy in 2005, than it was in previous few years, but guess I was wrong? @-@?
Man, can't they just switch to green tea to relieve stress?!! Lol!

I don't know for sure about Sho but I believe Jun is a regular smoker >< I've heard a lot of things about it

Hello minasan,
About the smoking topic, I noticed that the Japanese smoke as much as the French do. I've loved Jun ever since watching HYD, but finding out that he's a smoker....argh...i have to admit, that's a total turnoff for me.
Anyway on a more cheerful note, dunno if you guys saw this already, but it was really funny even to me who have no understanding of Japanese. Aiba-chan is so adorable speaking in English..."very very danger", he said...
