i forgot most of the rest, i had a poster of all the characters when i was younger.
the tenants.. they aren't new, they've been here as long as we have, right now they're taking 1/2 of the 1st floor and 1/3 of the 4th and 3rd floors.. i think they're just moving everyone together and taking the entire 8th floor... or at least most of it.

(characters: little twin stars, chi chai monchan, zashikibuta and how could i forget the frog: kerokeroppi.. where the hell do they get those names?)
some do...but it depends on who is doing the worshipping...there are some ppl who are just as fanatical about african americans too.
i suppose some of the j-people have their fetishes...but doubt they give a hoot about asian gaijin, since we could somewhat blend in, and they probably look down on us since we cannot speak japanese, atleast i can't yet...

i doubt they would look down on you for that...quite the contrary...as mentioned here previously....if you broke out the english they probably would feel uncomfortable speaking to you because they themselves are far from fluent.

There's a wierd collection of offices here...
ESPN X-Games, AFLAC, movie distribution, there's a Counsel for a central american country on the 7th floor, about different 8 lawyers offices, a bank on the first, medical clinic on the 3rd, Hawaiian Airlines on the 4th, FAA crash investigations class...
CPK, Learning Tree Intl and ATi takes up a large portion of the sister building.

good point, they could probably feel somewhat intimidated by an english speaking asian, but then again in a foreign country, they would probably have the advantage in getting around since it is their home country. But i wonder is harder for a Japanese to learn english, or for us to learn Japanese....all those confusing characters....esp. Kanji
