D-Addicts Site Status?

Ok I see what the problem was.

The first time you tried to upload it, it stored the hash then tried to store the comment but failed due to some mysql sytanx error. You must of put some characters in the comment that it didn't like (apparently it doesn't like double quotes " try using just single quote ' ) Then you tried it again with a different filename but the hash is already in the db so changing the name makes so difference, the hash of the content is still the same so it rejected your 2nd attempt.

I need to implement a transaction rollback in the upload workflow. Another item on the todo list. Gotta fix that double quote thing too.

For the time being just try uploading it without any comments then if it succeeds you can try and add comments to it.

is it okay to post jem's torrent to this site?
Since Jem's site is only temporary, we can lessen the load on his site by doing this. Anyway, just a thought.

Oh, and can we post requests? I'm thnking of starting winter sonata so maybe someone here is interested in sharing it on BT or point me to where to get them. I'm on queue on IRC but its a LOONGGG queue. I'm hoping to have it for xmas

Well first, you should probably ask him, second I've never tried adding a torrent with a different tracker before but in theory it shouldn't be a problem. However, d-addicts will NOT be able to display the seeders/leechers, completed, speeds etc info about the torrent since Jem's tracker is not updating my database and I'm not scraping his tracker for the information. (unless you create new torrent for Jem's file but I don't think he'll appreciate that.)

So basically all you'll be doing is using d-addicts to host Jem's .torrent files.

I do have winter sonata but I'm already releasing mariko, otousan and hotman when I get it so I won't have the bw for winter until one of those is finish. Maybe someone else that has it can help you out.

Are you talking about 1-9 torrent? cuz if u are that one was deleted but u can still dl 1-2-3

yeah, i was planning on just having d-addicts host some of Jem's new torrents like Since I Met You, but I havent asked him yet.

Eniway, thanks for the winter sonata - I had a hunch completing it by the holidays is unlikely. hehehe, eniways, when ur done releasing ur stuff and thnking of releasing a new series - I vote for winter sonata since its a bit rare on IRC as well.

I should have downloaded it when kiki1977 was still sharing it.
