Jerry: Elaine, do women know about shrinkage?
Elaine: You mean like laundry?
Jerry: No, like when a man goes swimming...and it's cold...
Elaine: Oh! It shrinks?
Jerry: Like a frightened turtle!
Elaine: Why does it shrink?
George: It just does!
Elaine: I don't know how you guys walk around with those things.

Yesterday as I drove back from work, the traffic was slow since a backhoe was blocking our way and the road is narrow. An old honda was 5 cars in front of me and didn't even stop (or maybe didn't see) a goat was crossing the road. It slowed for a while realizing the goat's presence but instead of stopping the driver ran over it!! :cursing:
I just hate seeing animals ran down by a car and then suffer their pain. The goat went through an ordeal but then again surprisingly it went back to it's feet and went over to the nearest grass to feed :woot:

How can someone ran over a goat!?! They are hard to miss and particularly when the traffic is slow. That guy must be a real jerk, if he saw it and didn't bother to stop. :beatyou:

Beats me. I managed to take over that car, gave him the stare and he looked as if nothing out of the ordinary happened. That's just sick.

What a big jerk :shakehead: . Wait for Eve's reaction about that incident.

Aww, poor goat. :puppydog: This just reminds me of the whole bunny squishing incident on Monday. :shamefulcry: How can people run over animals?!? So horrible.

it would suck if its the other way around.. it happened to my dad, except he was hit and attacked by a burro (sp?) he was heading home late at night from work and yeh since we live in the valley theres actually horses and donkeys around some other areas. his car was totalled REALLY bad and he got out with some minor injuries and scratches, good thing someone's nice enough to take him home. =T

^I hate seeing animals in pain and getting run over :puppydog: But, sometimes wild animals run INTO cars  Up where I am, we mainly have to watch out for deer, especially when the population is high. Sometimes they will just run right out and scare the crap out of you. They will cause serious damage to your car at times, too. If the deer isn't killed, many times they just run across the hood of your car.....and they have caused some serious accidents. I remember seeing on the news one time a couple years back: a deer darted out in front of some lady's car and its leg went through the windshield into the lady's head.....killing her.

I never ran any animals over. Well, I sort of did. I was coming around a curve and a possum ran into my front wheel, and bounced off and rolled somewhere. Then it ran off. I have no idea what happened to it. I pulled over and peeked around, but I didn't see it. I didn't get out of the car b/c a lot of times they carry rabies. :beaten:

Someone might be nice to pull over and help, in other case someone might cause traffic, not helping but just rubber-necking from their car. Good for your father :D

You got that right. Sometimes they just darted by from the side of the road. Happens all the time, especially to chickens over here.

I know how that feels, I used to have this "misc jdrama" folder on one of my drives (where I keep shows that have just 1 or 2 episodes subbed), somehow I can't find it anymore  :beaten: or sometimes series are being "slowly" subbed, or are being stalled for months- those are hard to find. I have redownloaded some of them through d-addicts, but some aren't being seeded anymore. All I can hope for are repost on NGs :ashamed:
