hmmm i dunno how they could do a sequel seeing that they basically skipped so much stuff in the middle to rush to the end. but yea if they do have one, i hope its only the orig cast.. and i hope that its not like meteor garden II haha tho i doubt it would be >< (since for me HYD >>>>>>>> MG... ) _________________

To me, it looks more like a campus than an house.
If that is my house, I would be dead cleaning it But then again, if I could afford a house a huge as that, why bother cleaning it myself?
Though you're right, it looks like a campus... or a national museum Horse stable? Wallao

Imagine cramping 36 volumes of HYD in just 9 episodes
I was kind of peeved at the HYD boxset over here that they actually printed out the title MG bigger than the title HYD. Even though the story is the same but then again, they're different if you get what I mean

That's why I cut the cover for the picture, threw the rest in the dustbin and designed my own . Now I'm at ease until at least I go over to the shops that sells HYD boxset

Hi, everyone. I've been lurking around these forums for awhile now, but I haven't registered until now. I know that Hana Yori Dango has ended months ago, but I only completed the series yesterday. Although, I must say, it felt like my heart was being ripped from my chest at times.
I haven't watched many Japanese dramas, but Hana Yori Dango is definitely one of those gems that must be watched. All the characters are beautifully portrayed by a cast of amazing actors. I've never watched Meteor Garden or read the actual Hana Yori Dango manga, so I didn't really know what to expect when my friend recommended it to me.
Having only watched a few Japanese dramas in the past, I had no idea what I was in for. I actually was reluctant to watch it, because synopses I had read of this drama didn't interest me at all. However, after I watched episode one, I became hooked. By the end, I fell in love with everyone! Well, Sakurako and Doumyouji's mom are exceptions but almost everyone else was lovable.
The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was the ending. I felt like committing suicide because it was so damn sad. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good ending. I just wish that Doumyouji and Tsukushi weren't separated.
Anyway, I'm really hoping for a Season Two. Does anybody have any solid information regarding this? Or is Season Two just a dream of the fans? I hope not!

Hey, guys. I have a question that I'm DESPERATELY in need of an answer of.
Does anyone know if there are any specials for Hana Yori Dango at the current moment? 'cause I REALLY don't want to be left with an open ending like that.
If there are no specials, do you guys know if there are going to be specials? And if this is the case, does anyone know when the specials are going to air?
I'm really hoping for a Season Two, but I suppose a well-done special will satisfy my needs as well.

Does anyone know if the possibility of a special is high? I haven't watched many J-dramas, so I wouldn't really know. Man... I really need a special. And normally, how long after the last episode of a show does a special air?

I don't know about a special, but a sequel seems likely, seeing as there's still SOOO much more of the story.
Anyway I have a question too. I'm now at the Miss Teen Japan part of the manga, so I'm continuing the drama. Does Domyouji's mom get introduced later in the manga? Because in the drama, she has quite a significant role. I'm wondering if they just added her for the drama.

I'm not sure about the manga, but my friends have told me that Doumyouji's mom plays a pretty significant role in the Anime. She's a pretty important character, so I'm quite sure that she's also in the manga.

After finishing the series, I wouldn't mind if they stopped there. It ended on a happy note, and it's pretty much assumed that Domyouji and Makino will maintain a long distance relationship until he gets back. I would enjoy another season, but a part of me doesn't want to see the characters go through any more hardships and misunderstandings . Besides, the drama strayed from the manga to make it end suprisingly well. I haven't finished the manga yet, but I'm assuming, since I don't think Domyouji would go to New York, come back, and leave again.
It would be interesting to see Amakusa in season two though, if there will be a season two.

In the manga, Tsukasa's mother would come into the scene at Tsukasa's birthday. That is when he introduced Tsukushi to his mom as his "Most Important Person" if I'm not mistaken and yes, it would be after the TOJ. Then she would be the major pain in you know where
Though anyway the main idea is still the same. It's Tsukasa & Tsukushi against Domyouji Kaede. The future mother-in-law from hell
I like the idea of Amakusa getting into the drama hehehe.

wait! i din't notice this. good eyes you got there. is this from the epi on the butterflies? hmmn. might have to rewatch kindaichi.
i'm curerntly corrupting my friends and exposing them to hanadan. and so far, they're loving it. one setbask though, they all seem to be liking shun very much. waaa.... the trouble of having a very hot boyfriend.. hehe.
anyway, much to my surprise, i learned that a local hannel here bought hanadan, though i don't know when they plan to show it. but arg! the thought of dubbed shun and jun... it's killing me... plus i would have liked it better if the other major station ogt it.. hmm... dilemma. good thing i finished it already. i'll probably watch it here just to see the dubbing and editing, if they do any. _________________

Yeah it is from the butterfly episode. Jun was so very young in Kindaichi 3, hehehe
If they dub the voice... I know I would cringe. I know I dislike foreign dramas with voice dub. The mouth doesn't move the same with the dubbed voice which actually makes the story funny. Original is better, with subtitles of course
