Just had to say this - pretty impressed with the piano performances by Takuya, Takako and Yutaka - didn't know they could play before (i've been trying to watch the camera angles very carefully so i don't think there are actually substitutes playing for them but i could be wrong.) _________________

I always wondered if they were playing for real or not. It sounds too good to be them. If the girls from Swing Girls can, I guess they could do it too. _________________

Both Kimura and Matsu are musicians, so it is quite possible that they already know how to play the piano, just need a bit of practice. Takenouchi is another story - he's only really played a few bars in one of the early episodes so maybe he just learned that part. Overall though I don't think it was live recording for any of the piano-playing scenes.

[Long Vacation] That was one moving finale!! Caps off one superb series - excellent acting and most definitely the music. Bravo! love the ending bit too, lol _________________
