heh, the dramas OK so far, nothing too special at the moment
yet another drama that demonstrates the seemingly endless obsession of explicating the theme of wanting to hump somebody waaay younger. this sexual fetish of boning down with teenagers when you're at least 10 years older than them....is out of hand.
hell, this 50 something ex japanese diplomat just got convicted for paying this 16 year old high school girl for sex.
anyway, that's that thing...i've seen too many seemingly mediocre efforts....i guess that's why i'm turning to the comic material.....lowered expectations as of late. kisarazu cat's eye got a few chuckles out of me so far.

Yeah, I'm really not fond of this recurring theme in a lot of dramas. It's just disturbing and it bothers me. Stories like this remind me of that one teacher who went to jail for seducing her 12 year old student and getting pregnant. Wow, what a basketcase.
Anyways. this and the whole sibling incest thing are big no-no's for me. _________________

latest reincarnation in Anego - i'm sure it'll pop up again and again as with food doramas and school doramas, lol

hehe, i recall reading that the other day...
also read about that assistant undersecretary of state or something in the US who was arrested for sexually explicit talk with a supposed minor (actually played by an FBI agent or something)

that's exactly why i'm watching food doramas this weekend starting with some light entertainment in egao no hosoku.
looking up some older jdoramas at the moment - there's some interesting older ones out there - tho harder to get - Heaven's Coins (all seasons) look interesting _________________

fo' reals....i can understand seeing it once....but not over and over....it IS disturbing and unseemly. f*ckin' unecessary if you ask me. are teachers so hard up they got bone down with some kid....i mean com'on, as you eluded, this plot point has come up in at least three doramas i've seen...and it's furthermore implied in terms of sexual tension in at least a few others.

anego, slow dance, majo no jouken, SOS, kkk 2003, etc etc...the list goes on and on and on. it's a tired, grotesque convention.
be forewarned, heaven's coins is good but not light-hearted!

hmm, slow dance? that wasn't overly bad - i think the age difference wasn't too big
SOS - i kno ur thoughts on this one
kkk2003 - ugh...prolly among my least fav doramas if not the least fav.... completely twisted.....
heaven's coins - it'll probably end up collecting dust after i finish dling it like 1L of tears or Sekachuu (i do plan on watching these sad ones at some point tho ) _________________

you're absolutely right regarding slow dance, the age difference wasn't that great to be sure but i was just rattling off doramas that were thematically similar.
my point being, is the subject THAT fascinating that it merits multiple treatments?
interesting that some of the cast members of the new j-drama Teru Teru Ashita, were also in the 2005 j-drama Ame to Yume no Ato ni. Kind of a mystery/drama/ghost story. Not freaky as it seems, Ame to Yume no Ato ni was a story drama mainly between the father and daughter. Teru Teru Ashita, Tomoka Kurokawa, she also played the lead in Ame to Yume no Ato ni.
so far i like it, and the first episode was subbed
what, do they bone down with each other on this one too?
i'm waiting for the ultimate fetish dorama on the subject...
A high school dorama where the female teacher has sex with one her students who happens to be her younger brother...
watch, it's coming......i'm placing bets.
lol....it probably will too....wacked..
Ame to Yume no Ato ni is actually about a father who passes away and comes back as a spirit to visit his daughter, my guess throughout the j-drama....nothing sexual here...that i know of..more a mystery-ghost/drama type
engineers - u never see many shows about it - i mean, if they can make an anime about Go that captivating, who know's what you could do with engineering _________________
