Im sorry but I have to bitch about work. I haven't been on this site for about 6 mos. now so I have 2 relieve some anger. Well I got this job now as a loan officer and I don't like it. It's boring and my boss trips when I talk to the other guys at the office. I mean TRIPS as in this is what he told me yesterday when I asked a co-worker for help on a loan: "I don't want you to talk to anyone here!!! They might mislead you and you could mess up a loan. If you need help as me or jen but don't even pay attention to the guys." Can someone tell me what the hell crawled up his ass????!!! He's been acting like this since the second day of work!!! _________________
NO POSSIBLE WAY!!!!! Im not trying to sound like an idiot but... he's persian and persians (a least the ones I know) don't like ANYONE!!! They are cold ppl!!! _________________
i mean, if that's not a "jealous boyfriend" reaction, i dont know what it...
btw, do you guys do home loans? who's your flood vendor?
*needs commission*
Hormones? I don't think so. He probably just wants to secure a hefty sum of $ for the company cuz Im fluent in spanish and we get a lot of Spanish speaking clients. But I think that's the wrong way of "guiding" me. My co-workers are getting all pissed at me now cuz from what the receptionist told me, ppl r starting to think were dating or that im sucking up. and yes, we do home loans hehehe. why what do u work in? _________________
Oh I see. We do refinancing and home loans. I wonder if there's any way we can swap clients or something cuz frankly i need commission too hehehe. We can probably swap bosses while were at it LOL!!! _________________

actually, we have our own refi/loan arm, we're a subsidiary of Capital Title Group (Nasdaq:CTGI), soon to be a part of the LandAmerica group (NYSE: LFG).

WOW and you get paid to do this? or are you soley on commission? I have to travel all over So. Cal and check out the ppls houses prior to letting them refinance with us. I went 2 san diego yesterday to check out a clients house and it turns out that his house was actually burned from the inside but he still wanted us to refinance him!!!! _________________
i get paid regularly... im just very efficient, so i have a bit of free time.
the only way i can get commission is if i refer someone to the sales department.
That's cool. Im gonna see if I can get another job cuz mine is a heavy load and on top of that me boss bothers the hell outta me. They wouldn't happen to be hiring would they hehehe. I work in the beverly hills branch so the commute isn't long but the job is horrendous!!! _________________

So, I call this customer and I ask, "Is this (the customer's name)?" Answer, "No", I ask , "Is this(the customer's phone #)?" Answer, "I don't know" I ask, "Does (customer's name) live there?" Answer, "Yes, but she's not home right now"
I was really tempted to say, " I'm going to cancel your DSL because obviously you're too stupid to know how to operate a computer!!!"

Incredibly stupid - Part II - I called this customer and asked, "Is (customer's name) there?" The person that answered said, "Just a second" This other person comes on the line, I ask, "Is this (customer's name)?" He answers, "There's no one here by that name" and hangs up! What the hell was that first guy thinking ?!!?

I'm on-call this weekend. So I'll get a call to document if any of our case mgmt. clients get put in the psych unit. Reading through the log is always pretty interesting though.
