What's up with the massive amount of crap being shown at theatres nowadays??!

in my estimation it's been like that for a couple of years at least....i geniunely believe, at least in part, that's why box office sales are down year over year.

I don't even remember the last time I saw a movie in a theater. It could be Tomb Raider or Star Wars at IMAX. Head Scratch

I used to watch a movie in the theater every week since I get in for free (my brother works there) butfor some reason I just stopped. Maybe it's because I'm busy these days... but I do wanna check out Silent Hill on friday.

Yup. He hasn't missed much at all.
Of the ones that are out recently....Benchwarmers and Scary Movie 4 are probably the only ones worth going to watch for a few laughs.

I hear quite a few of my friends wanna go watch Silent Hill was it.....or some other crazy horror movie Sweat

Yeah... I don't really miss the disaster phase or cartoon hero phase. So far almost all movies based on a game suck too. bleh

I'm looking forward to watch Linda Linda Linda, Shinobi, Nana and Touch. I prefer watching Masami Nagasawa playing baseball to some movie based on a cartoon I've never heard of, but it's good 'cause there are ads everywhere and you can get a toy with a combo at Burger King. Rolling eyes Sweat

My brother saw Silent Hill and he said it was good. I'm a fan of the games, so I can't wait to watch it. Looks really creepy. BTW, that american idol movie is called American Dreamz. Looks dumb...

I have been waiting the LONGEST time for Linda Linda Linda subs but for some reason nobody has done them. I guess I just have to stay patient... the other movies you mentioned are pretty good. I just recently saw Touch and I liked it. Despite it being about baseball and Koshien and all that, it's pretty different from H2. Which reminds me, I still need to make Masami Nagasawa screencaps from the movie... Bonk

Of course, before X-men 3, there's Da Vinci Code and Mission Impossible 3.

From Asia though, I'm really looking forward to watching Great Yokai War, a film by Takashi Miike, and these two Korean films, King and the Clown, which was the highest grossing film of all time in Korea, and Typhoon.
