*sigh.. total hatred for Dell Servers right now. Had a power surge at work, that caused a power outtage so we had to run on battery. When the battery died, the ungraceful shutdown pratically corrupted every single Dell Linux Red Hat box we had. EXT3 sucks.

None of our solaris boxes had this issues....

1 week of work out the tube. Well... almost.. managed to recover the stuff.

Does EXT2 have that problem too? I'm using it and I don't have a UPS.

I wouldn't doubt it. EXT3 is simply EXT2 with indexing. Problem IMHO is that it doesn't have atomic writes.

Most of the times an interview is just to know you a little better. If you're going to fit well with the others. You should be ok.
