*sigh.. total hatred for Dell Servers right now. Had a power surge at work, that caused a power outtage so we had to run on battery. When the battery died, the ungraceful shutdown pratically corrupted every single Dell Linux Red Hat box we had. EXT3 sucks.

None of our solaris boxes had this issues....

1 week of work out the tube. Well... almost.. managed to recover the stuff.

I wouldn't doubt it. EXT3 is simply EXT2 with indexing. Problem IMHO is that it doesn't have atomic writes.

I just came from a job interview...it was one of those role playing kind of

interview. It was much simpler than i expected, so much so that now i'm

having doubts about how i performed Fingers crossed

On the train back, i thought of answers i didn't give but should have Beat You

Oh well at least i have a job right now if that's any consolation.

Most of the times an interview is just to know you a little better. If you're going to fit well with the others. You should be ok. Good Luck!

Yeah, so a few people whos entries didn't get selected are ALREADY talking $hit... it's been less than an hour since the announcement.

and the talk of the lack of creativity comes from the group who decided to name our servers after "Duck Tales" cartoon characters and their workstations after the CARE BEARS.
