Started watchin a new drama today, Mama's Genes. I have watched up to 3 eps, a very promising drama about Nanami, a housewife and a mother to two children. Her husband Wataru works at a house designin agency. Wataru's father offers them a free flat in order to save money on their own house someday. Nanami has never got along with her mother-in-law in the past. Is Nanami going to stand up to her mother-in-law, just a little taste of a trick mother-in-law does as Nanami's moving into the house, hehe. Gotta watch the further eps
Currently watching Hotman. First ep seem pretty okay. I'm sure it will get better.
I have watched up to 5 eps, pretty good so far despite the silly overacting la Mukodono. The little girl is very lovely. She's talented I must say for her age. Akiko, WOW!
Btw thanks for Story of one century! Looking forward to the next ep

Pardon me, just want to ask something out of the topic. For those in singapore, anyone know of any stall in SNG that is still selling japan dramas ? seems like it has been phased out, taken over only but more and more Korean dramas !!!
Saw a couple of dramas recently... Boku dake no Madonna - a disappointment actually. Superb cast but weak script. Takki was awesome as usual but it couldn't save the show.
Nurse no Oshigoto 3- Fujiki Naohito looks great with ALL his co stars apparently, pretty or ditzy, and in this case the extremely adorable Mizuki Arisa! Still reeling from part 3 so haven't started on part 4 yet. But a couple of supporting casts are missing in 4, Nagatsuka Kyozo and Kanda Uno ~ they were awesome! Will miss them terribly when I watch 4...
Then there's the legengary IWGP! This drama is waaay cool! Great plot, great cast and the way it's shot... don't think a lot of J-dramas adopt such techniques, the fast moving camera angles! This drama is definitely a classic! ...But why do they have to kill Yamapi... I actually thought the others die too, fortunately, that didn't happen! Has anyone watched this one?

Just saw under one roof recently, borrowed the vcd from my fr... Full of errors so it affected my enjoyment a little. Overall a nice show, a little too much melodrama in the show, but it was pretty well carried out. I didn't like the last ep... thought it was rather lame. Gotta love noriko and fukuyama in this show though.
I've watched a few taiwan dramas, but I actually only just started watching jdorama about a month ago. Watched GTO (cause I thought the anime rocked, so I wanted to give it a try
I LOVED IT! It was even better than the anime, IMHO. Now I consider myself obsessed, heheh I just finished watching Forbidden Love a few days ago, and I'm well into Long Vacation. So far I'm loving everything. I'm also engaged in several trades, some local and some international, cause I can't seem to get enough
I've been lurking for awhile in these forums, also manically going through the database trying to find good titles to acquire

Quite a dark drama...dun watch it if u were not tsuyo, kou or kuninaka ryoko's fans....you will find it quite boring...
The story pointed out the problems that teenagers facing today, somehow i felt the same too....
However, i can't watch more than 2 disc per day....cos is a bit hard to swallow...
Dark drama isn't my cup of tea....but i like this....plus, this drama got two kawaii girls....shibasaki kou..

I just finished watching Mukodono, the first one. It was so funny! Made me an instant fan of Nagase Tomoya and Takeuchi Yuko. In fact, his Lonely Toothbrush has been in my head since the second episode! Very very nice drama.
I watched 2 eps of Matsushima Nanako's Beauty or the Beast, but cant seem to watch more, even tho the guy there's really cute. I also just finished Hotman with Sorimachi, who didnt do as well there as he did in GTO

Yep, like loveless said. A lot of people do lurk around before posting. (I was lurking for almost a year before I first posted. I'd rather you do that to get used to the surrounding than to just post indicreminatly. Welcome to the board! _________________
Just finished Mama's Genes a little while ago. A very entertainin family drama. After seeing Ryu's experience on the education system of hell in Japan, I felt sorry for the kids and teens they have to go thru helluva education process. A competitive society, starts at young. yes, I'm fully aware of Japanese demandin education. The feuds between the daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law were absolutely hilarious!
Lucky me I wasn't born Japanese Yet, a heartwarming family drama.
