after seeing another ep...i do agree this show is a bit ricockulous......

Yea, but that's what makes this show so hilarious, because you know that stuff like this can't possibly be real. And the fact that Fujiki Naohito is a friggen Texan cowboy. That's something I never thought I'd see.

for me, i'll admit the male characters are the funny ones in this show....i could care less for that bevy of bimbos....they made them so stereotypically dumb, it hurts.

i absolutely abhor the servility shown by those girls...i don't understand how the can have a moralistic parable while continually pushing the stupidity of these girls...i understand it's supposed to be comedy but it doesn't work too well.

if those girls in that "circle" had their heads up remi's ass any further she'd have two skulls. the level of ass kissing is beyond this galaxy. it's rather disgusting.

it's a very mixed bag in my opinion...it has it's funny elements but it can be incredibly stupid beyond compare....if you wanna see a bunch of bony ass chix actin' ridiculous...watch it now...otherwise...watch it later, much later.

i think it's a bit of disappointment to see toda erika in this role after seeing her in Engine and Nobuta wo Produce.

edit: personally i think kisarazu cat's eye is much funnier...and as MUCH as i love to see attractive women...there's a dearth of them in that show but it's ten times better in terms of script, acting, and over all execution.

Maybe she needed money to buy food, so she took the 1st role that was offered to her. Bonk

perhaps but from what i've gathered she's a rising star in the world of CM advertisement and such...

i'm not dictating to you, obviously, you should watch it and then decide...there are a handful of attractive women but their utter lack of acting talent is a sore spot.

personally, i'd much rather look forward to a performance of a kou shibasaki or a yuko takeuchi rather than a bunch of no names tryin' to act like shibuya girls which is already past hip in japan anyways.

seriously this dorama is about 4 or 5 years too late.

Mmm... ok. =T

Only have boring dramas left anyway, I guess I'll give it a try later unless something good comes out.

by all means..watch it...you're a sophisticated viewer of dramas...i'm sure you've seen more than most....it's just be prepared for an exhibition of ridiculousness beyond compare....

truthfully, tabana, there hasn't been very many "good" ones coming out as of late.

for some reason, they make the j-dramas with hooter action and major sukebeness for only 28 min, compared to the usual 46min.
2nd House was shorter in duration too...

Is this normally a slow drama period or is it because all the good actresses are on vacation? 2 shows with AV actresses... At least it's getting warmer, more stuff to do outside instead of watching TV. Bored

Sometimes, when you don't expect much it's not that bad. I just watch an episode to kill time. Not the kind of thing you can finish in 2 or 3 days.

Maybe they ran out of ideas and they're just using fresh faces with the same old crap. Anyone wants to watch a school drama about a super teacher starring the new boy band with the "I don't give a shit about anything, except my cool hairstyle" look?

LOL.... your point is well taken....but if all they can come up with is whores, bimbos, and gakuen doramas the state of future doramas is definitely in peril.

i'm not asking this to be sarcastic but actually as a mater of clarification...are you saying you saw this and are saying it's not that exciting that you couldn't finish quickly or are you expressing something else.

No. I was generally speaking. I sometimes watch dramas known to be boring, but just an episode or two a day and wait a few days in between. I watch a boring episode and, as a reward, watch a few episodes of a good drama. hehe Beaten

Indeed. I looked into the database and it spring isn't boring drama time. From previous years, you have stuff like Orange Days and Engine. Pout

forgive me for saying so...but you can't EVEN compare the recent batch of dorams to Orange Days or Engine....that's a laughable proposition.

i really love the Eriko Kitagawa doramas (i.e. Long Vacation, Beautiful Life, Orange Days, etc) so the shiet that's out now is definitely a dissappointment

I loved pretty much everything I watched, except only a drama or two, that came out in 2004-2005. Lately, all the anticipated dramas with big names are 7/10 at best and have sh*tty viewership/ratings.

Let's hope we'll have something better for summertime. Fingers crossed
