Man, I'm so happy to hear that others are finding and enjoying Keizoku" It's one of my all time favorites.
for a police dorama, i was really quite pleasantly surprised by the enormous build-up of suspense in the latter part of the show - particularly a much slower and episodic start. i don't think any other police show (from any country) i've seen so far comes close to matching that feat. definitely deserves my recommendation if anyone's looking for mystery and suspense.

I'd say they need to do a sequel, but in reality they already did. It was called "Trick"
Same director and writing team, and all the supporting players from Keizoku show up in Trick.
hehe, no wonder Trick seemed so similar to the first half of keizoku

Finished "Pride" last night. Kimura has definitely improved a lot in this dorama, and Takeunchi is still, for me, something of a goddess. I'm not usually into rock music between the use of Queen's soundtracks worked very well here. Highly recommended.

Just started on "Virgin Road". The only other dorama featuring Wakui Emi I've watched was "Ai no Uta". Wakui's character stole the scene in that dorama, and I'm looking forward to see how she does in "Virgin Road", now that she's the main character.

Finished Jyoou no Kyoushitsu and started Kisarazu Cat's Eye. I enjoyed Jyoou no Kyoushitsu and it looks like Cat's Eye is going to be good. I wasn't sure about this one, but after seeing many good reviews, I decided to give it a chance. So far, I'm glad I did. _________________

Yup. They really look like they're having fun together. With the various silliness of even characters you see less than 5 minutes during an episode. Funny show.
