I kept pestering her about eating breakfast at exactly 10:35am every day... cause i usually go in for my 2nd cup of coffee at that time. And i go to lunch at 11am, so i get hungry when i see her sitting there.

She does, im okay with eye contact, but the talking part is what gets me.

Why not try a compliment on something she is wearing? Or her fragrance. Or discuss the weather? Or discuss her work. The rule of thumb is to be more "interested" in the other person rather than trying to be "interesting." Women love a good listener.

I think most ppl who tease others intend for it to be friendly and kind and funny and familiar, but unless you know the person you are teasing really well, it can be misinterpreted.
