that dorama sucked, frankly speaking...watch summer snow instead...you can't even compare the two...

Now, now. It's not that bad - but then again I'm only half way through. You have to admit, at least, that Ishihara Satomi is cute. I don't suppose she's Oscar material but then her character in Ns' Aoi didn't really ask for much acting.

cute yes, a good performance no...but moreover particularly the whole doramas is just drab, contrived, and uninteresting....the supporting cast was weaker than most.

the only thing about that dorama that's like medicine is that when it tastes bad you don't want to take it again.

Him in Yoshitsune was really Sh*ty.
Haven't seen him in one good drama Shake Head

Though seeing him having to walk around pretending to be a girl was rewarding. I thought he was a real one Mr Green

"I'll do anything for you."

"Really? Buy me food NOW!"

"Okay."

"Cut class and serve me NOW!"

"Okay."

"Drink with me NOW!"

"Okay."

"Shoot yourself NOW!"

"Okay."

But really, I don't blame him. If someone as hot as her bossed me around, I'd probably do the same thing. Bonk

"Keeping a dorama real..." that's a nice bit of Freudian contradiction. I've just finished "Ns' Aoi" and it's really not a bad way to spend a few hours. Granted, the plot is a bit bland, and most of the character not very likeable. Still, I've seen worse, a lot worse - "Fugoh Keiji" comes to mind...

i really think, it comes down to, if you like the storyline, how deep is the plot, the characters, and how it affects you....overall..
it is really an opinion whether you think it is good or not...

N's Aoi is based off a Manga...not sure what to think, i haven't watched it yet....Satomi is in it, if you like her, i think it will make you like the j-drama more...other than that, what makes a j-drama "real"? it is what others think, just because someone either hates it or likes it, that doesn't make it the best thing around, or a dump...lol Beaten Head Scratch

Finished the first 2 episodes of "Tokyo Friends". I'm not really getting the hots about this one but thought I'd finish it up to clear it away from my working hard disk.

not keeping dorama real...my criticism of it is what's real....that show was weak....but if you wanna discuss real and suspension of disbelief as a literary matter...that show has very little of it....although all these shows are fictional, i know, some elicit more pathos than others...n's aoi isn't one of them..that emotional response from the viewer is part of the dialogue of any art form...when it occurs it becomes "real" in the mind of the viewer....

...my two cents...but yeah there are a lot of doramas that i'm sure are worse...i've seen a few of them.

Yea, I found Nurse Aoi to be kind of blah. It wasn't extremely bad but wasn't that good either. Somewhere a little bit below the halfway point for me. Ishihara Satomi is really cute but I didn't really care for her in this drama. I think the only thing I really liked about this drama is the theme song. Hehehe. rofl

Oh yea, I've seen waaaayyyyyy worse than this one. Do I really have to mention all the sibling incestual and teachers sleeping with students dramas again??? Beat You
