wow. 5! this is hard. but in no particular order though: 1) Tokyo Love Story 2) Love Generation 3) Beautiful Life 4) Majo no Jouken 5) Ichi Rittoru no Namida/One Litre of Tears geez, i wish i could squeeze Hana Yori Dango in! hahaa!

I only watched few dramas but my top 5 must be this : 1) Sekai no Chuushin de, ai wo sakebu 2) Orange Days 3) 1 Litre of tears 4) Beautiful Life 5) Densha Otoko Hmm, when I see my top 5 I find sad dramas are a lot memorable than funny ones and have more impact, not you ?

Hmm, when I see my top 5 I find sad dramas are a lot memorable than funny ones and have more impact, not you ?

I've been avoiding sad dramas a lot but its hard to say. My favs tend to come from series with superb acting, strong impact/impression on me, or simply a strong drama all-round.

I don't know but I find a lot of people have biases on jdramas because so & so starred in this one. I would love to see as many jdramas as I can, I have my own favorite artists but I would like to see jdramas that are really worth watching, if you get my drift. (ie., beautiful life, Ichi Rittoru). It just so happened the two dramas I mentioned have Johnny's artists in them but the storyline itself is really good! Beaten

Yes I have also my favorites actors (like everyone) but I don't think it's my case. Maybe I'm strange but when I like a drama and actors who play in it (for example I appreciated a lot Kimura Takuya's performance in "Beautiful Life" or "Long vacation") I don't want to find again them in first roles in another drama (and it's hard to watch a drama without him haha). I have "Pride" and "Good luck" on my hard disk since plenty of weeks and these dramas are always waiting for me being watched, probably for this reason. I need changements in stories and actors, that improves for me the credibility of the drama.

1) Nobuta Wo produce 2) Hana Yori Dango 3) Summer Snow 4) GTO I don't have a 5th. These are the only jdoramas i have watched and enjoyed. But i love those ones! I watch them On Youtube!

BEST DRAMA EVER: Hana Yori Dango(the one with MatsuJun) 1. Anego(loved it) 2. Kimi wa Petto(similar to anego but better) 3. Gokusen(funniest drama ever) 4. Lunch no Joou(anyone seen this one?) 5. Ganbatte Ikimasshoi (never got to see the full series though...)
