@Gransazers - Ang Gransazers ang unang tokusatsu series under the Chou Sei Shin Series. sumunod dito ang Justirisers tapos ang Sazer-X. Gusto ko ang Sazer-X na currently kong pinapanood. pero ang una kong chou sei shin series ay Justirisers - kaya ko lang sinimulang panoorin yun kasi SweetS ang ending song e (SweetS is a girl band - err - alam ko pinapalabas ang music videos nila sa Channel 13 tuwing sunday ng umaga - pero... disbanding na sila ngayong taon ) At tapos na ifansub ng Tv-Nihon ang Gransazers at Justirisers. ongoing ang show at finafansub ang Sazer-X
@Reaction on reairing of Maskman - hmmm....di ko kasi sure kung papatok sa generation ngayon ang old tokusatsus. Kasi - promise - cheezy sila - sobra. Di tulad ng mga bagong tokusatsus - mas naging complex ang plot. Kasi I got the whole Bioman (which was shown in 1984 in Japan) - it's sooo WTF?! ... seriously. I don't really remember watching Maskman (shown in 1987 in Japan) here in the Philippines kasi nasa Tsukuba pa ako nun, at nung time na nandun ako sa Tsukuba, showing siya, pero nalaman ko na showing siya nung patapos na kasi di ko alam ang sked at nalaman ko na lang later on ang sked (Kaya ang nasubaybayan ko ay Liveman, yung susunod sa super sentai series ). Pero seriously - baka kasi cheezy ang maskman e - at naiisip ko, baka sabihin ko ang reaction ko nung napanood ko ang first few episodes ng Bioman (then putting the rest of the CDs in my spindlecase) sa Maskman - 'ano ba naman ito? nanloloko ng mga bata!' - kasi it's sooo WTF na tigil na ang Bioman sa mga trabaho nila at nakatira na lang sila sa BioBase, susuntentuhan na lang sila ni Peebo? stuffs like that no offense sa Bioman fans - just my opinion...
On the side note na ilalabas ang bagong tokusatsus - hmmm...napapansin ko kasi pinapalabas ang tagalized na Power Rangers - in which binibili ng Saban ang rights for re-shooting and airing the scenes in the Super Sentai Series. Kung papalabas man dito ang Magirangers - baka ipalabas nila ay Power Rangers: Mystic Force, which is the Saban equivalent of Magirangers[/u]

Ang pinakabagong series ay Boukenger at ang baka maging American counterpart nito ay ang Power Rangers Relic Hunters. Hindi dito pinalabas yung ibang sentai after Fiveman ang alam ko lang na pinalabas nila eh Maskman, Bioman etc.. ang alam ko di nila pinalabas dito yung zyuranger (sentai version ng Mighty Morphin) saka yung ibang sentai after that. Sana ipalabas nila yung dekaranger. _________________

umm...di ba pinalabas dito ang Jetman? (that's the series after Fiveman). saka pinalabas pala dito ang Zyuranger (I don't really remember - didn't liked it anyway, I got 3 eps - only watched 2 eps - didn't continue it), akala ko pinalabas dito yung Mighty Morphin sa channel 2 way way back (which is the Zyuranger counterpart).
about gransazers airing - i asked awhile ago my lil bro - he said it's airing in channel 7. (we don't have cable, either way, our cable operator here doesn't have Hero channel - i don't watch TV anyway )
err...are we getting offtrack? hehehe, drama dapat pinaguusapan natin - pero qualified din naman drama ang mga tokusatsus di ba? i HIGHLY suggest the HYPER MIDNIGHT ACTION DRAMA - GARO to everyone. yea, it's a tokusatsu - but still - it's labeled as HYPER MIDNIGHT ACTION DRAMA - kaya drama pa rin (kaya ganun ang label kasi 1:30am pinapalabas sa Japan )

i'm glad you watched their team up special...i've seen a few scenes on youtube and i'm hoping to watch the full movie. I really love that team up it was one of my favorites. _________________

JDorama and Sentai Trivia - kilala niyo ba si Ishino Mako? siya yung nanay ni Tsukushi sa HanaDan at nakita ko sa profile na nasa H2 din siya (di ko pa napapanood ang H2 e ). At siya rin si Swan ng Dekarangers - wala lang cute siyang operator ng dekamachines ^_^ and also Nagano Hiroshi, I only saw him as the ex of Sumire-chan's chara in Kimi wa Petto, but I know him better as Ultraman Tiga - o man - adding that I also saw him as one of the Johnny's V6!
