hmp! bagal tlaga ng abs mag plabas ng jdorama nag suggest nga ako sa forum ng abs-cbn ng tsinoy.com na ipalabas nila Hanadan pero sabi ng mga taga admin. medyo malabo daw mangyari yun dahil nga sa meteor garden. wats the connection?! i don't get it! they should give justice to the japanese who originated and started it kung wala ung mangaka na gumawa nun may meteor garden ba? sana they should show it sooner.
kahit ako nung una hesitant akong panoorin ung Hanadan dahil baka parehas lang sa taiwanese ver., but when i got so bored and nothing to do in front of my pc i decided to download it sa d-addicts then bahm! i got strucked like WTF! soooobrang humanga ako of how they did it sooo well! at ang acting! man galeng ...compare sa lame acting ng taiwanese F4 at syempre mas magaling si Mao kay barbie tsu...
sorry sa mga fans ng MG bias talaga ako kase pure jdorama fan ako eh...hindi na nga ako nanunood ng kdramas since goong... peace lang tayo ha!!!

Kung ayaw nila kunin yung HYD eh di wag. It's their loss and GMA's gain . By the way, medyo dahan-dahan tayo sa mga comments, baka kasi flaming na ang dating niyan sa mga F4 fans dito . It's ok to praise HYD, but let's avoid inferiorating it's Taiwanese counterpart. Naiinis tayo kapag minamaliit ang mga j-idols or jdoramas natin kapag nico-compare sa mga korean at taiwanese idols or dramas. But that's no reason to do the same. Wag natin gayahin ang kanilang kababawan. So, easy on that, alright? Peace! _________________

i've said sorry naman hehe don't worry guys i don't argue or bash ppl anyways i've only watched gokusen 2 until eps. 3 lang...wala pa kaseng english subs. at ang opinion ko lang e medyo cliche na ang school themed jdoramas...although it's still good but siguro kung marami ka ng napapanood na school teacher student related jdoramas eh medyo parang magsasawa ka na...i think ung mga reviews na nagsasabi na gokusen 1 is better that g2 has the same thoughts as me, maybe they're all fed-up w/ that. but there's no reason for you stop watching any jdoramas, it's not bad, if you feel like it then you shouldn't limit yourself into it. just satisfy your viewing pleasure _________________
Hindi naman. Nanonood din naman ako sa ABS-CBN, I wouldn't discover Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin kung hindi ako nanonood sa Studio 23 at channel 2 . Madalas lang talaga naka-tune sa GMA yung tv namin

Thanks for understanding my point . Basta respect lang natin ang mga idols or dramas, at pati na rin yung mga opinions nung mga fans ng korean/taiwanese entetainment. That way, they will also respect us. Kung hindi naman ganon ang mangyari......it means that they are not a well educated people _________________

Gokusen VS Hana Yori Dango - I can't really say which one is better for me. Kasi both are very good titles based on bestselling mangas. HanaDan kasi alam mo na ang gastos ng pagkagawa, very good productions saka ang ganda ng cinematography. Sa Gokusen, di mo maiiwasan di tumawa sa bawat episode. Both have distinctive plots that needs to be separated. di ba walang focus on the element of love sa Gokusen? ang pagiging passionate bilang isang teacher ang nagkaroon ng importansya.
Gokusen 1 VS Gokusen 2 - hmmm...mas maganda ang Gokusen 1 para sa akin overall. Siguro kasi mas naging true siya sa manga at anime (I read and watched both before watching the drama) kesa sa Gokusen 2 na spin off na lang para magkaroon ng 2. Pero siyempre, fangirls I know would say different - kasi naman, KAT-TUN naman ang lumabas sa Gokusen 2 at dalawa pa! ang Akame combi pa ang lumabas!
HanaDan VS Meteor Garden - the remnance of Meteor Garden will of course will still be badly stained that 'mas gwapo ang MG F4 e' and such. But really, for me, until now, ito pa rin ang reklamo ko sa TWdrama e - di nagkakaroon ng importansya ang acting - they're very stiff (even though the story is fun and cute, the acting of It Started With A Kiss still needs to improve, the latest TWdrama i've watched). And from the first episode pa lang, alam mo na kaagad kung sino ang superior e, if the watcher will not be close minded and such that the cinematography (supaa-saikou desu!) and production of the HanaDan series is much much better. ang supposedly 3 bitches from the anime and manga (i have both the anime and manga zeldAIS --> ADDICT!) naging 2 bitches na lang sa MG e Though one thing about TWdramas based on mangas that i'm quite impressed is that they try to stay as true as possible in the manga they are making. (Read HanaDan manga and watch MG, siguro mga 95% true sa manga; kasi di nila magawa yung medyo magastos na parts )
Gokusen 2 vids availability - Matagal ko na tapos ang Gokusen 2 downloading, yun nga lang, kinukuha ko pa rin ang SARS-fansubs kasi mas maganda talaga siya. Meron na matagal na ay ang crap softsubs galing d-addicts. (some torrents are badly seeded, i suggest get it at boxtorrents)

Gokusen 1 vs. Gokusen 2 - Ciempre nothing beats the original...tsaka when I was watching G2, even though I loved seeing Jin and Kame on screen, mejo predictable na yung plot...parang you know that the kids ar egonna get in trouble and Yankumi will come and save them...tsaka bihira nman tlg yung sequel na nadadaig pa yung original. But nonetheless, I enjoyed both series, pero mas tumatak lang tlg sa puso ko ang G1. Kahit kasi yung character nila Jin and Kame, parang si Shin lang na dinivide into two.
HYD vs. MG - Hmm....tough one. I loved both of these. I mean, MG introduced me to the whole Asian Pop culture. And I loved the Taiwanese F4 too and the whole F4 craze in the Phils was a lot of fun too. I mean, you may or may not like those 4 guys, but you still gotta give them credit for that hysteria they created in the country a few years ago. Tsaka when they held concerts here, I think that was the first time ever that Asian pop stars actually performed in local soil. So MG will always have a very special spot in my heart that no Korean or Japanese series can replace.
But as for the quality of the drama itself, I would have to go with HYD. Both in production value, script and casting, they win over MG. May tendency kasi minsang ang MG (as with other Taiwanese dramas) na maging parang Love to Love yung style. Mas nacapture ng HYD yung essence ng manga tsaka the fact that the characters in HYD were in High school, as opposed to being colege students in MG, mas naging believable yung plot. I mean, mas tangap ko yung immaturity and brattiness ni Domyouji cus he's still a teenager, kesa kay Dao Ming Sz who's already about to gradute from college. As for the character of Rui/Lei..mejo magkaiba din yung approach ni Oguri at ni Zaizai. Si Oguri, mejo mas may angas and strength yung portrayal nia. Si Zaizai...mas nacapture nia yung katok nung character...mas forlorn, mas autistic As for Makino/Shan Cai, I go for Makino for the simple reason that I never really liked Barbie Hsu anyway. _________________

hello everybody! it's great that jdoramas has arrived here in the philippines...at least, there is a change of shows rather than the usual koreanovelas...
but sometimes the dubbing is not that great or the translation..for example in gokusen.Kawashima-> the nurse(her name in real life is Nakazawa Yuuko and she's formerly a member of the J-pop idols, Morning Musume)her voice is really cute in the japanese version(i have finished watching gokusen already..yay!).it's different from the dubbed one...anyway, that's one of the things i observed.
also, some words are translated differently.but still, it's better than nothing.i sometimes wish that the tv networks will just show the japanese version with english subtitles.hehe... i hope GMA7 and the other networks will show more jdoramas...
guys, i want to recommend the show 'ORANGE DAYS'.(i have also finished watching it..yay!)the show's great and also, hiroki narimiya(the one who played Noda in gokusen) is also there.he's so cool!
i also want to ask if there are stores here in the philippines that sell jdoramas and other asian movies...
