no, she's crying cause you don't like her anymore.....
yeah i wish! nah she's great but no matter how much i like a person or otherwise...if something is good, it's good. if i think it's wack, it's wack...
irrespective of my lowly opinion she's still gorgeous and gettin' paid!

sure.....
for me....watching Tomoka Kurokawa, a young very talented artist, did good acting in Gachibaka....a jdrama that i felt was ok, not anything great, but her acting was even better in Ame to Yume no ato ni, and in Ai ni yakimasu, and i think she does good work in Teru Teru Ashita, despite the low rating....
sometimes what is popular, isn't to ones liking. But i agree with you, Nurse Aoi, in scanning parts of it, seem to lack the punch needed to make it dynamic and great.

yeah...sometimes all the star power in the world isn't enough to save a script lacking credibility and good-writing.

i wonder how much "say" does an all-star actor/actress have in a new script they can partake in, for example, Takuya Kimura or Matsu Takako, I suppose some of the younger, newer j-actors/actress don't have much choice as their agent probably chooses what they feel is best, ne?

that's an interesting question...i dunno...hard to say how organic the creative process is...my speculation would be the actors, even the popular ones....read the script and decide whether or not they want to audition or take the part.

i suppose it rides on whether they choose wisely and take the right gamble...
Gal Circle tanked, along with Teru....but i would have like to see atleast Teru Teru Ashita rise up, cause i see potential and the storyline, i like it..but i guess others jump on the band wagon and determine what is popular and considered "good" material and successful...

com'on Gal Circle....yes i'm watching it but deleting it after i watch it...is a piece of crap, really...it's insanely stupid. even among young girls i would think it's insulting in it's depiction of the shibuya lifestyle. and you have to admit it must have limited appeal to other segments of the population...
as far as teru...you yourself mentioned it's in a crappy time slot...friday nite...it's doomed for failure b/c of that.

Gal Circle...even if it is obviously in the comedy category....it fails to flow and show consistancy in it, and it's lack of depth, and really doesn't make much sense...but it is hella stupid and funny, and i love Yui Aragaki, so i am a bit biased...lol
but Teru Teru...yeah, bad time slot, no justice in that..

gal circle....is funny for a few episodes but i can't imagine it worthy of a whole 11 episode run....
oh well...in any case, i hope Satomi Ishihara's next project is better than Nurse Aoi...after watching H2 which was released last year....Nurse Aoi was definitely a step backward for her.

I have to agree with you. Ns' Aoi wasnt good, but she is not to be blame! The story line just isnt good enough...! But there is one bright spot we can see from Ns' Aoi is that satomi is getting HOTTER!!! Compare to a 'high school' student look in H2, in Ns' Aoi... wow!

yeah there was no substance in Nurse Aoi...it was a weak story with weak characters...just a poor effort all the way around...
