Starting from yesterday this problem has escalated - now it's four hours in front. For instance I posted a message just now at around 1045 local time (Beijing/Hong Kong/Taiwan time zone) and the system clocked my message in at 2:51 p.m.
Is there any way to fix this? |
Got the same problem here, 4 hours advanced from the actual time of post. _________________

edit: changed to GMT+12, but it's still 1/2 hour off... |
I actually use the server time to see how much I missed. (I tend to get called away while I am logged in, and then it times me out). But it looks like someone/something really changed the server time. The difference is so wacky.

i noticed in two threads, "smappies" and "soccer" that the person listed as the most recent poster doesn't appear to have their messages available for viewing...

This means that some of the messages I posted earlier on were posted 'in the future' according to the server's clock, hence it thinks I was posting too soon after a message and that some messages got logged but not shown. |
sounds plausible to me!

I thought I was the only one dealing with this problem. Hm... |
Sorry... I posted that up there. But... I guess everything is back to normal now.

Is time still a problem now? Server time wasn't changed apparently. |
Based from the time of this post and the actual time (both are the same at 11:06 pm), I believe it's already fixed. Well, at least that's the case here at the UTC/GMT+8 time zone _________________
