Don't forget about the Spanish stations: Telemundo and Univision. I'm sure they'll be showing some games. Mr Green

Yay, it finally has started.

Germany had an easy 4-2 victory, despite 2 wonderful goals, the germans look uninspired (again)

like I said before, being in a weak group like this, Germany won't have problem going through to the 2nd round at all.

Finally it kicks off, the event this summer that I've waiting for since...well last world cup, lol
May I just say the first goal made by Germany was just beautiful. I think it was a perfect way to start off the World Cup.

woke up a 6am to watch England vs. Paraguay....not the most thrilling game....England 1-0 on an own goal header by Paraguay....

next up is the Sweden & Trinidad & Tabago match in 15 minutes.

that would be interesting...since it's first time they've ever been in the tournament....if they don't get clobbered it would be good.

poland is a bit unlucky Shake Head , two goals saved by the post.

Biggest surprise and most exciting match so far, Sweden 0 : 0 Trinidad & Tobago.

T&T is really doing a good job out there, with Hislop making many big saves.
And too bad for Sweden, they wasted so many scoring chances.

hislop is awesome...he probably had the match of his life...that guy saved so many shots on goal...he was truly remarkable!

hislop must have "solar hands" like Azuma Kazuma. Victory! Peace!

I just read about that. The only 1-0 match decided by an own-goal. I would not want to be that person should Paraguay not advance by one game.

Seriously...Paraguay got lucky though because the other two teams in that group Sweden and Trinidad & Tabago just drew 0-0

so that means the group standing in terms of points is

england - 3
sweden - 1
t&t - 1
para. -0

Ah, that was the only game I've watched so far. I love soccer but I'm not good with television so I never know when it's on, unless I'm lucky or someone around me is watching...
