Hahaha..that's true the corpses were lying around and piling up a bit like dead fish on the shore. Btw, Odagiri Joe as that Kabuki killer guy is a great villain.

Azumi was way much better than Princess Blade IMO. The swordfighting scenes were great. Another great movie by Kitamura Ryuhei.

Her name's Aya Ueto. Not to thread-crap, but after watching it I found it to be quite horrible. =)
Mibu Gishiden was much, much better, though there was no 'eye candy.'

I've just watched the movie Azumi my impression was
I think im falling in love with the leading character Azumi Aya Ueto she's very pretty and very talented
well the story is set in the tokugawa ira
a young girl lost her mother since she was little
that was azumi she was trained to be a assassin a pretty assassin
the ending was quite good astonishing
