i just finished watching shissou dead run, it was good i like i think only because tegoshi is in it, but i just say a preview of koyama's new drama he is really cute in it
just completed Remote - didn't expect to finish this one this fast - fukada kyoko and dohmoto koichi weren't bad in this series - probably the credit goes to the scriptwriters for fitting the script around cast - sometimes not the easiest of tasks. on the whole tho, this isn't a bad dorama - good little time-waster _________________

and Sapuri..which ep 1 has been sub'd so far.
i dunno, dawg...a plethora of new doramas no longer impresses me...many of the recent doramas seem to be sorely lackin' in terms of creativity, acting, and originality....

I dunno, I'm kinda iffy on whether or not I should watch Sapuri, because it's about a younger guy getting it on with an older woman. I like Itoh Misaki but yea. The fact that Kame's in this drama is kinda funn (considering who is rumored "girlfriend" is).
I've been watching a lot of K-Dramas. So far, the ones I've seen are very enjoyable. _________________
Here are series I have watched in the last 2 months:
Anego: Struggled to finish it. Ryoko Shinohara proves she is a first-rate actress (imo the number of good actresses consistently working in dorama today can probably be counted on the fingers of one hand). But most of the rest of the cast is bad and the plot is ludicrous.
Shiawase no Shippo: Predictable storyline, but a strong performance from Kyozo Nagatsuka as the estranged father. He is definitely one of the better Japanese actors, both in TV and movies. Miki Mizuno, as the daughter, gives a solid performance.
Remote: Didn't bother to finish it. Terrible script, terrible acting. Konishiki, what the hell were you thinking?
Mukodono: Another series I didn't finish. Just wasn't my cup of tea, even though Ryoko Shinohara was in it. From what I saw, it wasn't a bad dorama like Remote was bad; it just didn't hold my interest.
Jikou Keisatsu: Total fluff. Silly and pretty stupid at times, but occasionally very amusing. Joe Odagiri seems to have a flair for comedy (see him in Satorare, a much better series than this one)
Jyoou no Kyoushitsu: Kinda petered out at the end. An impressive, unforgettable performance from Yuki Amani as Maya sensei, the teacher from hell. I thought the girl who played the sixth grade protagonist Kazumi also did a good job.
Virgin Road: On hold after a couple of episodes. I like Emi Wakui, but this series was not holding my interest, and I don't know if I'll come back to it.
Fight: This is an Asadora drama; hence it follows a predictable formula: a girl/young woman who struggles against formidable obstacles to fulfill her ambitions and maintain strong ties with her family. These dorama are meant to be uplifting and family-oriented. I enjoy watching them.
Kochira Hon Ikegami Sho (season 3): Currently watching. Odoru Daisosasen-Lite. This is a decent series (I think it's up to season 5), with entertaining storylines and cast members. I saw season 2 awhile ago, and this one seems to follow the same formulaic pattern. However, Odoru Daisosasen still remains the best police dorama I have viewed, a superb series that has spawned four, pretty good, very popular theatrical movies.
