Short little tutorial for customer's when you call customer service: We understand that you're pissed off and frustrated, but as best you can, try to be polite and civil. I had to deal with this guy today, I wouldn't call him a prick or an asshole because he was BOTH I got so tired of dealing with his bullshit, I deliberately sent him to India. So, , , just try to be nice, ne? It'll payoff in the long run.

wow, what benefits.....a rootbeer float with a job...
But you have to deal with people like one of my co-workers had call him today: The guy is moving his computer to another room, there's a big desk in front of the phone jack and he wanted to know if we would send out a technician to move the desk. I guess I missed it when we changed our name to ATT DSL/Student Movers

File this under "Management doesn't have a clue": Our stuck in a fog bank managers have announcec that anyone that has perfect attendance in July will get a free root beer float at the end of the month
Now that is funny! Are you sure your managers don't live in the town of Pleasantville?

It seems the account wasn't activated, even though it was supposed to be activated 2 days ago according to the contract.
I guess it's not so bad after all, but I wish I called sooner instead of spending 3 hours trying to configure the PC, modem and router with every possible configuration. _________________
