for the Old Classics, whadda 'bout Love Generation? or Orange Days, for the new ones?
Hated Love Generation but yes you're right forgot Orange Days for the new ones, that's a must see. (Must say though that as with all dorama's that have sign language make sure you can read Japanese or that the subs are in a language you can read! I stupidly bought one (VCD) with chinese subtitles, realised my mistake and bought the original japanese DVD) _________________

I beg to differ....i enjoyed Love Generation, and a mid 1990's j-drama of Matsu Takako and Takuya Kimura, and basically i felt they had good onscreen chemistry in that one....it carried it the entire way through..
but we all have our opinions on what is great and what isn't....
Orange Days was another good one, Kou did a great job in acting her role.

I love that one line where his older brother Donta....tells him that his dream of owning a clothing store is straining the family and it's finances and Donta says
I don't care if it's called Dragon soda or Gorgonzola......
f*ckin' hystericallllllllllllllllll
Gorgonzola is a type of Italian cheese, similar to blue cheese.

I'm not only horribly lazy to search dramas, but thanks to my very picky character I don't watch every drama, even if there is some of my fav. actors. I want to watch something with good plot. "Good" actors are only plus in the serie.
The problem when I search something that could be nice to see, synopsis doesn't tell much and in genre it says "romance". Of course I can't know by that just how much there is romance in there, can I?
What I'm searching for _____Drama that doesn't have much of romance [but I do want some romance to be in it]. And it would be nice if the drama didn't have any special pairings.
J-dramas of friendship between males I would love to watch.
If it has hints of slash (yaoi/shounen-ai/gayness etc) I will watch it.
_____It has some kind of plot. Mindless "I love you Ken but I just have to be with that handsome Kouji!" with shoujo-flowers at background is creepy. Drama can locate everywhere and every time, so I will watch everything from year 0 to infinity.
_____ Humor and tragedy is always welcomed, but angst isn't. I hate angst.
I hope someone can help me find j-dramas that has some of these. I'm already seen Nobuta wo Produce, 1 Litre of Tears and Kurosagi so I don't need that to be recommended to me. n____n;
And I will not want to see dramas like Yamato Nadeshiko. Nice drama, too much romance. @___@;
And please, if you could, be nice and tell me what kind of j-drama it is if you recommend me something.
