i fell for jun in gokusen, so then i watched kimi wa petto, kindaichi 3, tokyo tower, and when HYD came out, i was like obsessive w/it every week... it was amazing but i hated his hair in it. and his acting has improved tooons im so proud of him.
and shun's acting is amazing, adorable as uchi in gokusen, but oh so good as rui. and in his other roles too, like in summer snow... that show's a killer.
I must agree. If it had not been for Matsujun I don't think I would have watched Gokusen as fast as i did and I would not know he Shun is. But shun has done a great job with every charcter he plays. He reminds me of Jonny Depp. Not with looks but his ability to play roles that are not the same as his previous ones.
But Matsujun's hair was frighten when I first saw HYD. And the fact that he was a total dummy shows the difference between him and Shin. BUt when both of these guys play a role, they do well. If you think about. In HYD Rui reminds me of Shin. The silent one who doesn't say much but when he does its always the right thing. And Domyouji reminds me of Uchi. Hot tempered always wants to fight. They do well together. _________________

oof..... well meteor garden was a royal disaster. but the jdorama, to me, did some good things.. tho to me it was a lil TOOOOO short... it didnt draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag like MG.

oooooooh. hehe. yea gokusen was my first jdorama ever and it got me into this world... this crazy obsessive place that i like to call home^^
but yeah!! i think jun and shun def showed diff sides of their acting when comparing gok/HYD. it was really impressive
tho i hate rui. i mean, i hate his character... especially in meteor garden. the one in HYD was better, i guess. they didnt make him out to be such an arse. lol. tho i shouldnt compare to MG cuz in MG, i hated all of the main characters, so i have NO IDEA why i watched to the end. lol. _________________

I didn't watch MG. but I honestly say Domyouji fashion style has inspired me. Don't know why but it has.
What's a really great drama I should watch now. I'm almost through with watching GTO. Any suggestions? _________________

haha inspired???
some of my favorites (excluding gokusen and HYD) include... nobuta wo produce, summer snow, and orange days... some other good ones are H2, 1 litre of tears, densha otoko... IMO. i'm watching my boss, my hero now and its pretty good so far. _________________

Yes. Domyouji style of fashion is very intersting in this drama. I can't wait to see how they dress in Season 2. BUT if Rui has to wear those long white tic-tac shoes again with every outfit. I might cry.

oh yes. i dont like the pointy white shoes. gross. i didnt like dom's black ones either. or the fur. oe thr purple leather. and rui's clothes are so white!! only a few people can pull that off... shun being one of them, i guess.
my boss my hero is about this guy who's going to become head of a yakuza gang or whatever, but he's illiterate, stupid, and cant do math... so this gets in the way of deals that they could accomplish... so he's forced by his dad to go to high school and graduate if he wants to take over as head of the gang... its amusing. ^^
but since that one is still coming out, and subs are still being translated, ive only watched 3 episodes T_T
if u havent seen nobuta, i'd defffff recommend it. its like... amazing and very.. unique.
