Hey there littlemrsfab! Not a connoiseur by any means, just a student and lover of fragrances. Did you see that I responded to you about your Unforgivable suggestion a few pages back? Thanks again. Nice to see another lady in this thread. Cool Water by Davidoff is a favorite scent of the men in my family. I got some for my nephew this past Christmas. That one should be worn very very lightly. I am not familiar with the one for women. Should be nice. Enjoy! As for me I am waiting for My Afrika by Krizia to show up in this country. From what I have read about it, it sounds like my kinda of fragrance.

I looked up Nautica Classic on basenotes.net. The same people who like that scent would also like Cool Water ( that is you!), Dolce & Gabbana pour Homme, Acqua di Gio by Armani, Polo Blue by Ralph Lauen and Desire for Men by Alfred Dunhill. |
Yeah, what i'll wear depends on the situation.. but i've been looking at D&G pour Homme, Issey Miyake and Envy.

I am the same way. I wear different fragrances depending on the situation and/or time of year. Sometimes I have been known to layer scents. The problem with that is I can never duplicate those scents because I don't remember exactly what or how I layered it.

i've never layered before.. i get overpowered easily with certain scents, where some I can't smell at all (skunk for example)...

it's only because you're double pumping the cologne.

I have only layered scents that are very soft and light on their own. Like the light one-of-a-kind fragrances I got in the Caribbean. I would never try that with my designer stuff that needs to stand alone. Skunk, heh?

Oh I thought you were j/k! You really can't smell skunk. Lucky you!
