What's the diff between the Director's cut and the original one?

Not much, really. Some extra scenes that give you more background information on a few characters, and different endings. There's also some extra CG blood! You're not really missing much. If the 2 are the same price, get the director's cut, cuz you might as well pick up the extras, but if it is significantly more than the regular version, don't bother. It's not really worth it.

Gotta 2nd TG3's notion. Get the Battle Royale Director's Cut, absolutely, positively, absotively, do not pass go, do not collect $200, just get that version. If for no other good reason that SPOILER AHEAD basketball scene alone makes for a more enhanced film. Also, Mitsuko's "seductive-ness" is laid out (whoops! Pardon the pun!) better in the Director's Cut. SPOILER OVER Besides . . . it's Kinji Fukasaku last film. P.S. I have this weird feeling that Battle Royale might very well end up as part of Criterion Collection. Robocop and The Killer ring a bell? They sure do, because they were both blood-drenched films. Oh, and, you can't exactly pick 'em up at the local Towers anymore.

i couldn't find any DVD/VCD of battle royale in Singapore. And neither can i find any active torrents

I like this movie, one of my favourites. It's bloody, brutal, but a great movie. And there's Ando Masanobu too! _________________ Life is nice with a lot of bishonnens!

I've seen it, but I didn't really get it well, I think I watched the second movie.. maybe I couldn't get in to it because I missed the first movie... but all in all, was it a good movie _________________ Hiroki + Makki = <3

i think there is a vcd/dvd version for the second movie..some of the characters in the first are still in the second one..for me the second movie is also great..brutal and bloody..

I didn't download it, I saw it on tv.. every fridaynight the dutch mtv broadcasts asian movies... at least.. they did.. they don't do it anymore T___T I hope it's only temporary Puppy Dog Eyes

You'll need to have a clubbox account to be able to access that box and a clubbox software to download a file from that box. However, since clubbox is a Korean p2p, everything is written in Korean characters, including the registration form. Sweat

I like battle royale!! It's interesting though it is bloody and all XD I dont enjoy BRII as much though.

I just saw a news (it was dated june 8, 2006) about a hollywood remake of this classic film http://www.aintitcool.com/node/23540 I have a feeling it is not gonna be as good as the original film. I hope they won't push through with this _________________

if they will push through with it, let's just hope that they'll give justice to the movie... i had read the manga but only up to volume 5...it's a different feeling when you're reading the manga from watching the movie.but both are still great...
