Gotta 2nd TG3's notion. Get the Battle Royale Director's Cut, absolutely, positively, absotively, do not pass go, do not collect $200, just get that version.

If for no other good reason that SPOILER AHEAD basketball scene alone makes for a more enhanced film. Also, Mitsuko's "seductive-ness" is laid out (whoops! Pardon the pun!) better in the Director's Cut.
  SPOILER OVER
Besides . . . it's Kinji Fukasaku last film.

P.S. I have this weird feeling that Battle Royale might very well end up as part of Criterion Collection. Robocop and The Killer ring a bell? They sure do, because they were both blood-drenched films. Oh, and, you can't exactly pick 'em up at the local Towers anymore. | |

If you know how to use clubbox, I know a box where you could download the second movie. Here is the link http://clubbox.co.kr/kdwluverz

You'll need to have a clubbox account to be able to access that box and a clubbox software to download a file from that box. However, since clubbox is a Korean p2p, everything is written in Korean characters, including the registration form.
This tutorial should be of big help to you http://asianwaves.net/index.php?showtopic=2 _________________
