His next movie is Sugar and Spice with Erika Sawajiri. She is a couple of years older than him, but they look cute together. Anyway go to the webpage I made of this talented actor, so you can learn more about him.

saw him in nobody knows... i remember he's got an awards but to my mind, he did not so well... in this movie... the young brother was more natural than him... anyway i've cried at the end of the movie (just when the sad music begin...) and it was really great!
i'm looking forward the movie with erika!! (Sugar & Spice~Fuumi Zekka ) is the shooting finished?
what's the story about? _________________

Oasis sing for "Sugar and Spice" and presumably lots of money too
Following the lead of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, British rock band Oasis have become the latest international act to supply a theme tune for an upcoming Japanese film, specifically Nakae Isao's "Sugar and Spice" (Shuga ando Supaisu - Fumi Zekka) starring Yagira Yuya ("Nobody Knows") and Sawajiri Erika ("Shinobi").
Based on the novel by Yamada Eimi, "Sugar and Spice" is a sad story of nascent adolescent love. After graduating from high school, Shiro (Yagira) works at a gas station without any particular purpose in life. When a new part-timer by the name of Noriko (Sawajiri) comes along, he discovers emotions that he never felt before. His feelings gradually intensify, until one day he tells her how he feels for the first time. While gently embracing Noriko, Shiro realizes: "This is love." He imagines a happy future for the both of them, and thinks that everything is going well. That is, until Noriko's ex-boyfriend appears on the scene...
Director Nakae and producer Ota Toru (from Fuji Television) previously adapted the bestselling romantic novellas "Calmi Cuori Appassionati" (Reisei to Jonetsu no Aida) into a high-grossing film starring Takenouchi Yutaka and Kelly Chen. That movie prominently employed songs by Irish warbler Enya, and her CD "For Lovers" went on to swiftly shift over a million units. With Cannes Best Actor winner Yagira (who recently starred in "Shining Boy and Little Randy") and rising star Sawajiri on board for this tear-jerking love story with a potentially huge female audience, Oasis have apparently been attracted by the pungent scent of breeding yen. The film will feature three tracks taken from their 2005 album "Don't Believe the Truth" - "Let There be Love," "Lyla" and "Mucky Fingers" - as well as "Rock and Roll Star" from their 1994 breakthrough release "Definitely Maybe."
"Sugar and Spice" will be distributed by Toho, and is set to open on September 16th.

I didn't cry when I watched the movie, but I couldn't sleep the night that I watched it...and once I finally fell asleep, I ended up waking up depressed about it in the middle of the night, then I started crying. Embarrassing, yes...but its true. _________________

This boy is growing up nicely... I'm expecting to see more of him in the future. From what I have seen of him so far, he's a talented little boy. I'm glad he's not one of the idols being churned out from Johnny Jr. _________________
1. there are groups on yahoo about yagira, one exclusively about yagira yuya. some messages put pictures into attachment. it is also possible to host them externally, like it is done here in this forum.
2. today i have seen nobody knows ...after AKIRA and ASHURA the 3rd movie in japanese language.
why no one told me about AKIRA? it was there in the shop for around one year, i noticed it (the title), but could not see it is actually the same name. so far about people can not see things. from
this experience i can say it is so true.
have a look http://rottentomatoes.com (movie reviews).
there is a profile about yagira san, and threads about the movies.
for nobody knows, there is a thread about the critics.
it is visibly a low budget production, but kore-eda successfully scrolls the story. not all of the reviews do consider this minimalistic intention. the ending scene both spooky and sort of happy end. the characters are definetively ordinary, not impossible superheroes.
