^^ Are we women bashing here? Or just women over 50 and/or lesbians?
Thought this was supposed to be a fashion thread. Doh!

No, I just don't happen to like most of those TV personalities. It has nothing to do with their age, sex, or sexual orientation--it was my bad attempt to make a joke. Well, besides the fact you couldn't pay me to see them naked. hehe

BTW, if you guys peek back to the first page, the this thread is focused on Japanese fashion, not American fashion or the fashions worn by the women of The View...

To clarify and to hopefully stay on topic, I'm renaming this thread. Smile

I noticed that the Japanese (guys, I think) love to wear retro clothing. At least all the vintage clothing stores that appeal to the Japanese tourists in Hawaii told me.

Is that fashion or cosplay?

Either way, it's nasty.

not cosplay......that's nothin', you see some really over the top ish when you roll through certain neighborhoods...Shibuya, Harajuku....it's madness...then you roll through some upper crust areas and the women are decked out in thousand dollar outfits...Ginza, Omotesando....

thats a real cool site. some of the outfits are really frightening. but others are quite cool. u dont see that often in the US these days. at least definitely not in boston. lol. or at this school XDD

ahh i wouldve never guessed but the pix of ginza are the ones most familiar to me... ^^ i see lots of punk in other areas... where the guys' clothes look more like my clothes than the girls' ... i wonder if thats just me.

looking at a lot of the JE guys, their clothes look very feminine. not that thats bad. i would in fact love to own a lot of their clothes......hahaha... minus the rat fur and fevaaaa to futaaaaaa clothes and things like that.

yeah most ppl there definitely move to the beat of their own drums.....yeah it's wildly eclectic....but in that way some of those fashions also spawn trends of their own..

as far as Ginza fashions, well that's the really posh part of town, filled with all the European brand name shops and haute couture labels....of course it would be familiar to you as it would be the same fashionable clothing one might see in New York, Paris, or Milan.

some of their fashion looks cool~i feel. but some are really quite extreme, not the cosplay or gankuro fashion, but some are tad too colorful or really not your normal day outfits.
