Nope. Not really. Depending on how well you know your menus/dialogs, you can easily navigate them and learn what the characters are at the same time.

Well, I'm willing to try if I can safely uninstall it later, if need be.

I'll toss this in with Fushin once it completes. I'll try to include the uninstall instructions since the menus would be in Japanese by that point. hehe

Send me both Win2K and XP versions, if possible. I'll try it out on my second PC which is running XP.

We used to have a XP JP on 1 machine for test at work. Pretty much the same thing. The only advantage was to be able to view text files and use programs without unicode. Instead of viewing garbage, you see the real characters.

Pretty much everything was in katakana (control panel anyway) and we were stuck with the ime toolbar like in XP EN.

eventually, dvd playback software plays media backup dvd (and cd/mini cdrw)...everything video, mp3.
by that way i noticed "daite senorita" and "manatsu no tenshi".
they have been deleted otherwise, but made their way into a backup.
the second time i noticed additional details...guess people don't really want to see it.

thought this feature is interesting...and i am sorry if my writing covers 5 different topics.

Happend to me once. I waited for a month, then I got tired of waiting and tried to cancel my order, but they wouldn't cancel it. I tried to contact them a few times by phone until I got "the number you have dialed can no longer in service."...". Bankrupt. I waited for nothing. bleh

If you get your 2 mobo on the same day, it'll will feel like christmas. Mr Green

Ugh, thank god that only happened to me once so far. And that's after like 30-40? (lost count) orders from webshops in the past 5 years. mobo broke down (same model that I sent for RMA this time, exact same problem: agp slot dead)

the shop said ok, just sent it back to us then we'll RMA it. few weeks later the parcel came back. I was furious Beat You then i found out that the shop vanished. thankfully I wasn't the only "victim" because there were people who actually ordered and paid for new systems and they never got their goods.

back ontopic: the RMA of my current mobo is going slow...too slow. my newly ordered one should arrive tomorrow though. It's taking them like nearly a week, in my books that's too freakin slow. Funny thing is I was at this computerfair yesterday, and I really had to try hard NOT to buy a mobo there.

I'm spoiled by fast shops that sent out your stuff within the same day when the money is on their account. I wish more shops accepted creditcards here in Holland, but sadly most people are super paranoid to online shopping.

Yay finally got my mobo back from RMA (god knows what happened to the other one...) since they didn't have it in stock they gave me (on request) an Epox 9NPA3 Ultra: i'm a happy man.

my X2 3800+ runs at 2.5Ghz at stock voltage Victory! Peace! hopefully it can do much faster, but that will require at least a week of torturing and testing Doh!

I'm trying to "downclock" my PC. There's a feature called AMD cool and quiet, that's suppose to lower the voltage and FSB multiplier, when the CPU is not used, but it doesn't work. Puppy Dog Eyes

Hmm, I never tried cool n quiet since it messes up my overclock.

maybe you can try the dualcore hotfixes? http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_9706,00.html

Cool and quet also requires you to have the proper Q&C drivers installed. Read your mobo manual.

I just do it manually with crystal cpu.
