it's FOOD...
hehehhe
Nodame Cantabile is such a great manga, it's light-hearted but never shallow, if you paid enough attention you will see a lot of subtle humour and symbolism. I've always wanted to see a live version of Nodame because after all, it's a music manga, and what's better to enjoy it than to have a live version with the real music playing in the background? Oooh, and it has plenty of drama, but the drama never takes the dominant side. It's a balance of comedy, romance and drama. I can just talk on and on and on about it. How I wish more josei manga like Nodame, Honey & Clover will be distributed more widely out of Japan. To have Juri Ueno as Nodame is a plus, simply because she's such an adorable actress. Her energetic personality in Swing Girls made me a fan of hers, I'm pretty sure that Ueno will pull off the role of Nodame well. I can't wait to see this drama .
Fall season looks like a very good season. Many of the respectable names are returning: Kou Shibasaki, Takako Matsu, Yutaka Takenouchi... Even screenwriter of hit dramas like Orange Days, Long Vacation is also returning with her newest script Just One Love. Honestly, she's one of the best drama scriptwriters. I enjoy all of her dramas so far, and I'm hoping that her new drama will surpass all of her previous ones.
Btw, is it confirmed that there will be a My Sassy Girl drama? _________________

Ahhh....Nodame Cantabile sounds promising from the way you described it. It seems like the kind of light-hearted and fun storyline that I'm looking for. Plus having Juri Ueno as Nodame, there is no way I will miss this! I can't wait to see her again. Juri Ueno is very adorable. She's great in those quirky, wacky roles.

Definitely looking forward to seeing Eriko Kitagawa's latest dorama. Yep, this fall season is shaping up well.

I suggest you check out Ms. Ueno's performance in episode 4 "Slot" of "Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi" or even "Engine". In both occasions her character was much darker and she still shone.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've seen Engine already. That dorama didn't live up to my expectations despite Kimura Takuya heading the cast, but I did enjoy watching Juri play one of the orphans. She is quite the versatile actress eh...

Krim, I found you a girl
Photo by Sankei Sports: Back in 1981, the film "Sailor Fuku to Kikanjyu" starring Yakushimaru Hiroko was a hit including the theme song sung by Yakushimaru. A drama series was released in 1982 starring Harada Tomoyo. Twenty five years later, the sailor girl with a machine gun is back with a drama series to debut on TBS on October 13th. This time featuring Nagasawa Manami.
is it same as yuuki?
there are so many kame's dramas this year..
im so envy...
It's not the same as yuuki. This one is about the romance b/t a poor guy and a rich girl. Let's see how it'll turn out to be.
I'm a Kame's fan. Half of me want to see him in new roles, half of me want him to take some rest time. That boy is workaholic, not good for his health.
