I'm going to Japan at December 5th (-13th) and would love to go see some live concerts (j-pop ones. My best friend and I aren't much fan of j-rock).

Does anyone know if the schedules are usually arranged more than one month from now on? In www.jmusiceuropa.com I can find all concerts that are going to be in this month so I really don't know about things like this. (Does anyone know any site where I could see the schedules of most of the live concerts in Japan?) And can someone tell me how whole thing in Japan goes; buying the tickets, coming to the place where the concert is held, if there's some kind of rules or if there's age limits. I'm having one good japanese -speaking person with me, but it would be great if someone that has experience could tell us about these kind of things so that we don't have to worry ourselves dead.

I hope someone can help me, and thank you in advance.

Maybe you could try the record compnies' websites. Also found this:
http://www.ticket-finders.com/rock_concert_tickets.htm

Don't know if it's good or not though... I'm sure there's some kind of Japanese ticketmaster, but don't know the name... Pout

Sorry, but can't tell you where to buy them (I bought one last minute at some ticket store in Shinujuku <-1/3 of the original price *-* 1 1/2 hours before the concert started Bonk) and the other day one in front of the concert hall!

Most depends on the Hall where the concert takes place.
The one I went to was the Nippon Budokan and it was divided into two Entrances (depending on your seat). If you can't understand japanese this might be a bit difficult to figure out.
Btw the people standing were kept in serveral "cages" (no, not divided, really like in cages) and there was a big gap between the stage and them -> i was really happy to have a seat.
What i dislike about japanese concerts is that they take place so early... The ones I went to started at 6:30pm and ended at 8:30 Shake Head

If you've got some questions please feel free to ask Mr Green

And by the way, you're a foreigner... that's why japanese people don't care about you're age!
I'm 18 and went to clubs (20=<) without anyone asking for my age!
