They lose two of three from the lowly Cubs.

Oh man, Maddux has a no-hitter through six innings, 2-0.

Of course, now I've jinxed him and the Dodgers. Sweat ashamed

Unfortunately, except for Saito, the Dodgers don't have anybody in their bullpen I would trust as far as I can throw Rush Limbaugh, and Little has said he's only going to use Saito if he's got a lead. While the Dodgers can't beat the Padres, the Padres can't beat the Giants. Anybody know how many games the Padres have left with the Giants? (The thought of cheering for Barry Bonds is making me ill bleh )

Amazing game last night! Dodgers come back TWICE and win it in the bottom of the 10th 11-10. Victory! Peace! Back in first place (for the time being)

Oh man, that was a game for the ages...! w00t! w00t!

Back to back to back to back home runs in the bottom of the ninth and a walk-off home run by Nomar in the bottom of the tenth... Incredible.

I was so freaking jazzed, I had a hard time going to sleep.

Meanwhile, the Giants get absolutely splattered out of Coors: 20-8. All this after they got 3 runs in the top of the first. I think they were playing baseball under football scoring again.
