yea, that was what i was been wonderin for a long time already, the percentage of gettin' killed by that little impact was quite low, rite? anyways, i think they purposely made it that slow because they knew we would think that he would survive at the end, ne? and they wanted to give us an unexpected ending... Well, if that was the purpose they made it that slow, haha.. i think they suceeded into tricking me, i really thought he lived ya know? i was wonderin', : how come Natsu arrived at the hospital that fast? haha.. only did i knew that he died.. that's why..

I think my file for the final episode screwed up... becuz i dont remember seeing the motorcycle part at all.. ah too bad for me.. But I did found the ending being very smart. With Natsuo's heart in Yuki's body, they were both able to see the summer snow together, thus fulfilling the promise.

"high five" haha... maybe u r right... they purposely do this to let us assumed that natsu maybe able to survive from the accident... actually when i watched the scene i have guessed that he is dead. but i didnt cried at that scene but rather the scene when yuki know abt it and was in the train keep sobbing and guess what? at that moment my laptop no batt... and i am just at the mood to cry when suddenly my laptop screen went "shoo" and blank... luckily i can managed to retrive a little of the info after plugging the plug...

i agree with u yah the whole story is really beautiful... so far i found this story the best and i liked the way it ends though natsu is dead but he remains at yuki's "HEART" and when yuki go diving, they managed to watch the sea snow together... so touching!!! another interesting thing is the way the chinese title goes with the name of natsu and yuki... five stars!!!

yea, i was cryin' then too.. Especially the part where Yuki was diving.. if i still remember correctly, when she was diving, Natsu's voice came out right? That made my waterpipes burst in me.. haha.. to tell you all honestly, i watched the ending part for like 5-6 times in a row and i still cried until the very last bit.. Waahhhhh... and at that very right time, my mom and sibs came home saw me cryin' and they were shocked! they thought some robber came in or whatever just happened.. because they never actually saw me cryin' bcuz of a dorama before. Seriously! Before that dorama, i really never imagined myself cryin' over TV. kekeke.. i was practically bawling like hell, i bet even my neighbours could hear me if they were at home. I cried like waaaaa... waaaa... waaaaa.... hoe embarassing...

actually i dun really like beautiful life.... though i loved almost all takuya's dramas.... even my fren being a takuya's fan dun enjoy it as much... she also prefer summer snow...

Beautiful Life was sad because it was like an epic love story type of thing and they had a lot of dreams for the fututre together, but I thought Summer Snow was sadder because Natsuo's brother and sister relied on him so much and Yuki loved him a lot too, and he was always worrying so much about what was best for everyone so when he died I was so sad ;-;

I youst finished looking at this drama,and i must say im not happy.Why did it have to end like this? why?

The best character go and dies? and give his heart to his loved one?? this is wrong,why cant they yous live happy togheter rest of thier life? im wathing beatiful life now to and damit if it ends the same,then i never ever wath another j drama,beacuse its only makes me sad ...

if you ask me .. i would ended it different.

her sister dies from giving birth but the child lives
his brother gets hit by a car (as natsuo always reminds him to watch out)
his gf dies from a heart attack

all is left is him, sister's baby and sister's boyfriend.

then the boyfriend takes the baby and moves back with his parents.

then natsuo is all by himself.

that's the better ending.

The moral of the story is if you're trying to save a child from getting hit by a motorcycle, dive out of the way with him or her rather than sitting down in the path of the motorcycle waiting to get hit. Who knows? Maybe it will save your life someday.

i just finished watching this drama... and found the ending quite nice.. and could have been nicer if i didn't accidently read a few spoilers..

"She has a nice body, doesn't she?" is referring to her health - her body is strong enough to handle the procedure. Just remember the writers are Japanese - actors just say the lines.

On a side note, did anyone else already know the ending from the episode where he clearly stares at the "heart donor card" application? I think it was episode 8...what a rip-off, the remaining episodes were a waste to watch because I already knew how it would end.

Yeah, even though it was a brief scene, when i saw that, I went "Hmmm....so he's going to die instead, huh?" I wished they didn't show that scene, then it would have been a surprise. But, even though you knew it was coming, I didn't know how it was going to happen. That kept me watching.

I must have been slow because when I saw him watching it I just thought ti was to show him thinking about her. I didn't make the connection to him giving up his heart until much later.

I thought it very logical if youre loved one is about to have a heart transplant to be more thinkign and considerate about doign that service for others. Because you would have wanted someoen to do that for her.

But that was just my interpretation.

when i saw the card.. i didn't know it was for donation///... japanese words?? me no understand.. so i thought it was just about caring for ur heart campaign shyt...

i realised when he was dead when he was actually cryiong when yuki told that she can go swimming with him in the ward... then he seemed sad.. that's when i realised that he was a ghost... (even after i read the spolier that he died.. i didn't read when or how...)

but 1 thing i dun get was how he managed to pass the necklace back to her...??? he's a ghost right?? by the hospital bed that time?? hmm...

and when she realised that he donated the heart to her//.... that was so touching... esp.. when the music played in... touching man... my goose bumps came up[.... and the final part where she was swimming in the sea... then "yuko...." the summer snow///.... that was the best part... i'm getting goose bumps all over again... dang...
