oh wow, I guess I've gone too far when I said I didn't like Orange Days because of Kou but that's how I feel. I feel that way towards some actresses/actors, not just YOUR Kou . When I don't like the actress/actor --- > It affects my feeling toward their character ----> if that character is the main character -----> I don't like the whole series. That's why I didn't even like Good Luck, not just Orange Days.

I didn't say Kou is ugly and can't act, but her beauty and acting is not my cup of tea. I didn't insult her or her fans, so why can't I just be frankly saying that I don't like her ?!?! You have your point of view, I have mine. No need to convince anyone else. A lot of people love Orange Days doesn't mean it suits everybody (even if I'm the only one . But nothing/ no one is perfect, right ? ). No matter how hard I try to tell you my thoughts, you wouldn't understand it like I don't understand yours. Yup, you could say I'm weird or whatever, but I'm just telling why I don't like Orange Days. I didn't even say Orange Days is a bad drama or Kou is no good. Long story short, it's just about my feeling, not about arguing Kou is pretty or not, can act or not.

woohooh, now I get it, this thread is just for people who love Orange Days or Kou. Ok then, this is my last reply. It's better for everyone. Ciao ! Muack Peace out! Didn't mean to stir up an arguement, just discussing honey !

not at all. it's refreshing to hear someone fashion an argument without resorting to insulting or derogatory comments (which even i engage in from time to time) to delineate their views. despite your difference in opinion you clearly laid out your point of view which you are obviously entitled to regardless of where that places you vis-a-vis others. i wouldn't suggest you stiffle your input based on any disagreements above.

s'all good. hope you enjoy the Lemon Days more ^_^

Sometimes people comes on a little stronger than they realize when they are defending something (in this case a dorama) dear to them. 'shanghai_honey' obviously feels strongly towards "Orange Days" and is probably looking for rational, logical explanations from other that are not as attracted to this dorama. Unfortunately preferences are not always rational, much less logical. So may I suggest the two of you just agree to disagree and forget about justifying your own preferences?

For the record I am also very fond of "Orange Days".

Hey diafyoffate....no need to get so defensive eh? Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. Bonk I am not attacking your taste or right to like/dislike Orange Days or Kou. Since you stated your dislike of Kou in Orange Days, as a fan I am curious to know why and posted a counter opinion, naturally. And since you replied to me first, surely, you would expect my reply. If you've only stated that you didn't like Kou, hence that affected your enjoyment of the show, then I have no problem with that at all. End of story. But you added that she was not convincing in Orange Days and always acted the same in every role....now, here I maintain that I disagree with you. It is just a matter of your personal taste. Everyone's liking of actors/actresses is hardly objective, so why try to justify?

Yep, I am obviously a big fan of Orange Days...just from my handle you could tell. Mr Green When I discuss my favorite subjects, I tend to be passionate about it. lol

Don't worry, there is nothing more I have to add to this debate. Going on to see Kisararu Cat's Eyes now... w00t!

This is the first role I've seen her in as well, and she was grand! I've also just discovered that she sings! Awesome vocals.

LOL! No, he's a photographer's assistant. In the beginning he's in love with a model who's sort of slutty. He doesn't really have a lot of respect for himself and uses the excuse of "love" or whatever to get what he wants. Of course, he matures and changes, but this all comes later Wink[/quote]

I stayed up until 3am to finish Orange Days. it is now in my top drama queu. I give it a 9/10 and only because Crying Out Love is a 10/10 and can have no equal.

I did not care for Kou in Crying Out Love movie.

But now she is redeemed. She is now in my A list of actresses. This gal not only has tremeduous talent, but incredible charisma. Give me more Kou.

Did you guys notice BTW that:

one my all time favorite doramas....of the work i've seen her in....this was her best most challenging role. she's also stars in Good Luck...but of course her character is all together different. she also had a supporting role in Million Stars falling from the Sky.

yu wuz rite... said the rabbit. How is the Canadian super swift air mail doing. Do you think they open all international packages to check for contraband or whatever why it takes so long? argh!

I'm still having withdrawal... I'm such a sucker for a good love story.... in fact I'm in love again... Love I want Sae and I'll even learn sign language.

I'm taking another peak at train man series and Akane from OD plays a self serving bitch in it. rant

Now it's on to another Yonekura - an unmarried family.

I haven't gotten anything yet... but I haven't checked the mail this week either. I'll check it on Thursday and hopefully something is there.

I'm attempting to draw portraits of Ryoko-san for B-san and Manami for Musa as "thankyous" for the stuff they've sent me. Who would you like me to draw for you?

PO box I imagine or you live way out in the sticks and have to walk 2 miles to your mailbox. In winter it's snowed under and you have to rely completely on email. bleh
