I watched a bit of the "Deguchi no Nai Umi" production guide DVD and found out that this is a promotion footage with English subtitles. I have high hopes that when the movie DVD is released English subtitles are included.

If the magazine does the same poll next year, Ms. Ueno will be seeing some serious competition in the U-25 group.

If Mr. Ueno's 'idol-power' was based on her work in 2005, she stands a very good chance to be placed in the top 10 next year. By the end of this year she would have appeared in 6 movies/drama:

Deguchi no Nai Umi
Shiawase no Switch
Rainbow Song
Christmas on July 24th Street
Bokutachi no Sensou
Nodame Cantabile

If the current list is anything to go by I'd put her on the number 8 spot - below Ayase Haruka and above Uchiyama Rena.

i believe she can be in the top 10 next year. she's such a telented actress. and cute too.
