Something bad happened today. I was playing basketball with my friends this morning. After half an hour of playing, my friend named Dan said he is kinda tired, so he sat down and took a breather for a while. After a few minutes, he suddenly fainted, and everyone was shocked and we immediately lays him on the bench and me and my other friend started the engines of ourcars. We initially thought of bringing him to his house, but my other friend, who is a nursing student, took the pulse and said that it seems that it isn't just an over-fatigue and could be something serious, so 5 of us rushed Dan to the hospital while the others went to Dan's house to pick up his parents and bring them to the hospital. We all waited for the doctor's findings, and after an hour of observation, the doctor said that Dan was developing a heart disease called COPD (forgot what that means ). The doctor said he could have inherited that disease from his parents or ancestors and was triggered at an early age due to smoking. He is confined to the hospital at this moment, but the doctor said that he wil be dismissed tomorrow since it isn't that serious as of now, but it will be if he keeps on smoking. Ah, good thing is was never into smoking. _________________

Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Your friend heard from this news from the doctor too right?
Not the greatest way of learning smoking isn't good for you.
I wish your friend will be better and the best buddy. _________________

Yea right. lol It was just with this guy who's been trying so hard for like forever. He knows he's just a friend, but sometimes he likes to be treated differently.

@Saito_Hajime: Sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis. If you want to find out more about COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) you can go to these sites: familydoctor.org or lungusa.org
I sincerely hope he gets better!

Well lets hope the next guy you date is a keeper.
Or as Johnny Depp said as J.M. Barrie in Finding Neverland.: "You must believe."

i'm sorry to hear that about your friend. our prayers go out to your friend and hope for a fast recovery.
Dates are done now for a while. I'll call them "social meetings" now.
That reminds me of the drama I just watched - Mada Koi wa Hajimaranai. It was about never knowing that the one person you're destined to be with might just be the person sitting behind you.
UNMEI!!!!!
But seriously...
Saito_Hajime...my prayers for your friend. I hope everything turns out alright for him.
